We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this young woman. We have been lifting her up before the Lord these past days and we continue to remember her in prayer.
We have been praying for this young Asian woman you chat with, who has suffered so much abuse from her father who threw her out naked, from her mother who has given her a black eye and broken her things, and from her siblings, and who has been treated like a slave in her own home. We have asked God to be her protector and defender when the police would not help and even sided with her family, and when the suicide hotlines only offered empty words. We know the Lord sees what is done in secret and He is close to the brokenhearted, as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, and we have prayed that He will show up for her in a powerful way, that He will provide safety, shelter, justice and godly people around her who will truly help and not turn away. We have also prayed for her mother who goes to church yet does not show the fruit of faith, that God would bring conviction and change to that household.
We also thank you for your honesty in saying you do not pray much these days. We are glad you still brought this burden to us and allowed us to carry it to the Father with you. We are praying for you as well, that God will encourage your heart and draw you closer to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
