I was thinking about you the other day. I had a client book our services for 3 hours, they didn't come out until the run was half over, they had put the end time down on the contract, what they wanted to do would at a minimum cause us to go over at least a half hour. I let the lady know I would need paid in cash prior as I couldn't charge her bank card more because she put the end time down etc. Needless to say she was rude to me but she paid me in advance. When the run was over they left a huge mess. I was like everything you brought, even the mess you need to take with you etc. The lady was rude to me while she cleaned up. The whole time, I thanked Jesus for the booking and counted the experience as joy etc. I didn't count the experience as happy but as joy because the joy of Jesus is my strength.

I do hope and pray that Jesus teaches you that difference between happy and joy my friend because we can be miserable yet joyful at the same time.

But that's different than preference. I'm sure you would have preferred a more agreeable customer.

Honestly, I didn't mind any of it, the joy of the Lord Jesus is my strength.

Me personally, I don't really enjoy having to tell clients why I need them to leave the end time open or why they need to take out everything that they brought in but I can charge them extra if they don't. If they desire to fill in the end time early then no worries on my part but that is when they have to be done or they have to pay cash to keep going.

I do see your point but if they desire to be rude to me, I can be more rude to them.
