We join you in prayer concerning this burden of false accusation, and we bring it before the Lord together in Jesus' name, for He sees what is hidden and knows the truth when others do not.
The Lord takes false witness very seriously, for it violates His holy law. Exodus 20:16 says You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. We rebuke the sin of bearing false witness and every lying tongue that has risen against you, and we also exhort you not to answer evil with evil in return. Our Lord Jesus Himself knows this pain, for Isaiah 53 foretold Him and 1 Peter 2:23 reminds us Who, when he was cursed, didn't curse back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously. Psalm 35:11 says Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don't know about, yet God is our defender and judge.
We encourage you to commit your way fully to the Lord and to walk in integrity and truth, even while you are being misrepresented. Isaiah 54:17 promises No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. Psalm 37:5-6 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noonday. Matthew 5:11 says Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Do not seek to vindicate yourself through anger or revenge, for Romans 12:19 says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Speak the truth in love, hold fast to a clear conscience, seek wise and godly counsel, and if this accusation has legal consequences, seek trustworthy help to establish the facts calmly and honestly, while you entrust your reputation and your future to Him.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We are saved by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. It is in His name alone that we can boldly bring this need to God and find mercy, truth, and vindication.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one who has been wounded by false accusation. You know the truth in every detail, every word spoken in secret and every motive of the heart. We ask You to be their defender and shield, to expose lies and to establish truth in Your perfect time. Guard their heart from bitterness and fear, grant them peace that surpasses understanding, and help them to respond with grace, honesty, and Christlike character. Where there is injustice, bring vindication, where there is confusion, bring clarity, and where there is pain, bring healing. Let their righteousness shine like the dawn as they trust in You, and let this trial refine their faith and draw them closer to Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our righteousness, amen.

It is a sore trial to have a false tongue risen up against you, and to bear a burden which you have not deserved. The heart is wounded not only by the accusation itself, but by the sense that man cannot see as God sees, nor judge as God judges. Yet there is comfort for you in this, that the Truth of God is not hidden from Him, and His justice shall not fail.
You are not the first to suffer in this way. Our blessed Lord Himself was falsely accused, and stood silent before His accusers, that He might bear the reproach of sinners and vindicate the justice of God upon the accursed tree. There upon the cross, justice was satisfied, and God was shown to be both just and the Justifier of him that believes in Jesus. If you have fled to Christ for mercy, you need not seek a self justification which will condemn you, for Christ has been made your righteousness. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.
Remember this Truth of God, that you need not fear man that shall die, nor the son of man who is but a worm. When fear goes, faith comes in. It is an easy matter to trust God when all goes smoothly, but genuine faith trusts Him in the storm. Submit yourself therefore to the will of God, who suffers even this trial for your good, and who will in His own time make the truth to shine forth. Buy the truth and sell it not. Hold fast to that which is true in doctrine, true in your own heart before God, and true in your daily walk, for there is no place where truth can be found in its power and life except in Jesus Christ.
Do not render evil for evil, nor answer false words with false words. Speak the truth, the whole truth, and let your heart go with your tongue, leaving vengeance with Him to whom it belongs. He that confesses his own sin shall find mercy, but He also hears the cry of the innocent and will plead their cause.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, You know the truth and You try the heart. You see this Your child under false accusation, and You know the pain and reproach it has brought. Vindicate Your own justice, we beseech You, and let truth prevail. Give peace to the troubled heart, and strength to bear this trial with meekness and faith. Keep the lips from all falsehood and keep the soul resting upon Christ, who alone justifies the sinner. Let not the fear of man prevail, but let faith in Your faithful promise be strengthened. To be falsely accused is a painful and heavy burden, and God sees the truth even when others do not or will not. He knows what has been said against you, he knows what is true, and he is the righteous Judge who will in the end make all things clear.
Even our Lord himself endured this. When he was brought before the rulers, they could bring no true charge against him, but only conjecture and false witness. Pilate asked, what accusation do you bring against this man, and they had nothing solid to answer. If you are suffering in this way now, you are not alone, and you share in a small measure what Christ himself bore with perfect innocence.
Scripture reminds us that every idle word will be accounted for before God, and that a matter is to be established by faithful witnesses. People may speak quickly on suspicion, but God is not deceived. He will vindicate in his time, whether in this life by bringing the truth to light, or in the life to come where nothing remains hidden.
I pray for you now that God will give you peace in the midst of this distress, that he will guard your heart from bitterness and from returning evil for evil, and that he will strengthen you to walk in integrity and quiet trust. I pray that the truth will be made known, that those who have spoken falsely will be brought to see their error and to repent, and that you will be freed from anxiety and fear as you entrust yourself to him who judges justly.
If it is possible and wise, seek to have what is alleged brought into the light with calm and honest witnesses, and commit your cause to the Lord in prayer. Do not let the accusation drive you to despair, but use this trial to draw nearer to Christ, to pray for those who have wronged you, and to rest in the reward that comes from a clear conscience before God.
