Fall/concussion

We join you in prayer for your neighbors after this fall and concussion, and we ask the Lord to draw near to them in this time of need.
We know that nothing happens apart from the Father's knowledge and care, and even in sudden hardship He remains present and sovereign. Jesus promised that the Father would send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to teach and to bring peace in affliction, and we cling to that promise now. May God comfort them, calm their hearts, ease any fear or pain, and guard their minds and bodies from further harm.
We pray for complete healing. We ask the Lord to touch them where they are injured, to protect them from lasting effects of the concussion, to grant wisdom to doctors and caregivers, and to give them rest and strength as they recover. For those getting on in years, we ask for His gentle sustaining grace day by day, for safety in their home, and for the encouragement that comes from knowing they are not alone.
Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to send Your comfort and Your healing presence to these neighbors right now. Surround them with Your peace that passes understanding, restore what has been shaken, and let them feel Your nearness. Help them to look to You for comfort and hope, and use this time to draw them closer to Christ who alone is our salvation and our rest. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are our refuge and strength.
We will continue to pray for their recovery and for your kindness in caring for them. May the Lord give you peace as you love and support them. In Jesus name, Amen.
