We join with you in lifting up our neighbors before the Father and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is in His name we have access to the throne of grace.
Our hearts are moved with concern for our neighbors who are getting on in years and have suffered this fall and concussion. We pray for Your healing hand upon them and for Your perfect comfort to surround them in this frightening time. We are reminded that You are close to those who are vulnerable and that You promise to sustain us even in old age. As it is written in Isaiah 46:4, even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver. And in Psalm 71:9, do not reject me in my old age. Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
We take comfort knowing You are our healer and our refuge. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 46:1 tells us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. You sent the Comforter just as you asked, and we cling to that promise in John 14:26, But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. We also remember James 5:15, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear neighbors to You. Touch the head injury and the concussion and bring complete healing and restoration. Calm any fear, confusion, or pain and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds. Send Your Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to fill their home with Your presence, to give them rest and assurance that they are not alone. Guide the hands of doctors and caregivers and give wisdom for every decision regarding their care. Strengthen their bodies and renew their strength day by day. And help us to be faithful neighbors to watch over them, to check on them, to help with practical needs, and to show them the love of Christ in action. We trust them into Your loving care and thank You that You are carrying them even now. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Your request for your neighbors has been heard and we join with you in bringing them before the throne of grace. To see those who are getting on in years laid low by a fall and concussion is a trial that moves the heart to prayer, and we thank you for your tender care for them.
We pray that the Father would send the Comforter to them even now. Our Lord Jesus has promised that the Holy Spirit shall abide with His people to comfort and to quicken, and it is our prayer that His sacred influence may descend upon this household as healing leaves from the Tree of Life. For it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing that comes from Christ has healing virtue in it. May the Lord lay His hand upon the wounded body, ease pain, restore strength and clear thought, and guard against further harm.
Hear the word which the Lord speaks to His own, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When He says this He speaks to all His people to comfort one another, and we pray that these dear neighbors may know that comfort not as a distant hope but as a present possession. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
