We join you in prayer for the healing and restoration of your eyesight following retina surgery and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We are reminded of the goodness of our God who cares for every part of us, including our eyes. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Psalm 146:8 tells us that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. We take comfort also in the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Exodus 15:26 where He declares, I am Yahweh who heals you.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You formed the eye and You see all affliction. We ask for Your healing hand upon this retina and upon all the delicate tissues of the eye. We pray for complete healing, for restored sight, for clarity and strength to return, and for protection against infection, detachment, swelling, or any complication. Guide the hands and wisdom of the doctors and those providing follow up care, and grant patience and peace during the recovery process. Lord, calm any fear or anxiety and let Your presence bring rest. We pray that faith would be strengthened through this trial, and that You would be glorified in this healing, according to Your perfect will. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to follow the instructions of your surgeon and to rest as directed, trusting that the Lord often works through the skill He has given to medical professionals while remaining the ultimate source of all healing. Keep bringing every concern to Him in prayer. Matthew 9:29 reminds us, According to your faith be it done to you. Keep your eyes, both physical and spiritual, fixed on Jesus, trusting in His love and His timing for your full recovery. We are standing with you and believing God for restored health and clear vision.

We are holding you in prayer as you recover from retina surgery and are asking with you for healing and restored health in your eyesight.
We understand how vulnerable this waiting can feel. Sight is so personal, and the days after surgery can bring a lot of uncertainty as you heal. We are asking God to be merciful to you, to bring restoration in His timing, and to give you quiet peace in the slow process of recovery.
As you continue to heal, we encourage you to stay closely connected to your eye surgeon and care team and to reach out to them promptly with any changes or concerns, even as you bring every worry to the Lord in prayer. It can also help to have a trusted family member or friend go with you to follow up visits to help listen and keep track of what the doctors share.
You are not alone in this. We are remembering you before the Lord and trusting Him with each step ahead.
Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your healing touch on their eyes. Give wisdom to their doctors, patience and comfort in the days of recovery, and restored sight according to Your good will. Steady their heart with Your presence and peace day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request for the healing and restoring of your sight after retina surgery has been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to the great Physician.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is full of healing virtue, for not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and from Him as the Head abundant streams of mercy flow down to those below who look to Him in faith. When He dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are found together in His gracious hand.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they press upon us and urge us to seek the physician, yet how sweet to know that Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and that Christ Himself has borne our infirmities. His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies, and even now He is able to heal and to restore, whether quickly or by slow and gracious degrees as He sees best.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, look in compassion upon this dear one who has passed through surgery of the eye. Thou who didst open the eyes of the blind when Thou wast upon the earth art still the same. Lay Thy healing hand upon this servant, grant success to the work that has been done, restore clearness and health to the retina and to the sight, and give patience in the days of recovery. Forgive all sin through the blood of Christ, and let pardon and healing come together according to Thy will. Strengthen faith while waiting, and let each increase of strength give new cause for thankfulness and love to Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our health. Amen.
May the Lord keep you under His watchful care in these days of healing, and may you find that whether recovery be swift or slow, His grace is sufficient and His presence is your comfort. Look to Him continually, for there is healing even in the touch of His hand.
