We join with you in prayer for the healing and restored health of your eyesight following retina surgery and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We are encouraged by your faith to call upon the name of our Lord for healing, for He is the Great Physician. Scripture reminds us that He heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to His promise where He says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We remember how Jesus in His earthly ministry opened the eyes of the blind, and that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind Psalm 146:8. We know that nothing is impossible with God and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We pray together now for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You for guiding the hands of the surgeons and for bringing them through this procedure. We ask now for Your healing touch upon the retina and upon every part of the eye. Lord, restore vision, bring complete healing, reduce any swelling or pressure, and let the eye heal perfectly according to Your design. We pray for clear sight to be restored, for strength and patience during recovery, and for peace that surpasses understanding to guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray that You would remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with trust in Your goodness and mercy. Let this healing be a testimony of Your power and love. We ask that You grant wisdom to the doctors for follow up care and give rest and comfort in the days ahead. We trust this to Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We pray all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to rest in Him and to trust Him through this recovery, keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith Hebrews 12:2. Do not be afraid, for He holds you in His hand and says, Fear not, for I am with you. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word daily, and may the Lord grant you renewed strength and restored eyesight for His glory.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request concerning your eyesight and your recovery following retina surgery, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they press upon us daily, and we are right to seek the physician and the surgeon for our healing, yet how sweet to remember that above all earthly skill there is a heavenly Physician from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not only His fruit but even His leaves, the smallest touch of His grace, have power to restore. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and to make the nature whole.
We are reminded also that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the same hand that pardons is the hand that heals. His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies, and even now the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work in us health and cure.
Therefore we pray for you now. Our gracious Father, we thank You for the skill You have given to surgeons and for the mercy already shown in bringing our friend through surgery. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would lay Your healing hand upon these eyes. Restore the retina, give strength to the sight, remove inflammation and fear, and grant a full and clear recovery according to Your perfect will. Let patience be given in the days of waiting, and let each increase of strength be acknowledged as a new claim upon our affection and gratitude to You. May this affliction draw the heart nearer to Christ, and may faith come by hearing the Word as He teaches and heals.
We leave you in His tender care, trusting that whether recovery be swift or slow, He who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses does all things well. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and grant you to see His goodness with restored eyes and a rejoicing heart. Amen.
