We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for healing and restoration of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every detail of this struggle, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore what has been damaged.
Lord, we pray for complete healing of the retina, that every cell would be renewed and every nerve restored according to Your perfect will. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen the eyes, remove any scar tissue, and grant clarity of vision once more.
We also pray for peace and patience during this time of recovery. Surgery and healing can be a trial, but we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Help the one recovering to rest in Your sovereignty, trusting that Your timing is perfect.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that fear has no place here—only faith in Your healing power.
We thank You for the skill of the surgeons and medical professionals involved, for You have given them wisdom and knowledge to care for Your creation. Bless their hands and guide them as they continue to provide treatment.
Finally, Lord, we ask that this healing would bring glory to Your name. May this testimony of restoration point others to Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One through whom all healing flows, and by whose stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
