We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and restored health of eyesight following retina surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our inmost parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every detail of this struggle, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been damaged.
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon these eyes. Strengthen the recovery process, Lord, and let every cell, tissue, and nerve be restored to full function. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or delay in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
We also pray for wisdom and peace for the medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let them be instruments of Your healing. Give patience, trust, and hope to the one recovering, that they may fix their eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May this healing bring glory to Your name and draw hearts closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in faith, knowing that He is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Rest in His promises and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are any areas of fear or doubt, bring them before the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
