We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this request for healing and restored eyesight after retina surgery. The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator, and He is the one who heals all our diseases. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise today, trusting in His power to restore and renew.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:27-30, where two blind men came to Him, crying out, *"Have mercy on us, son of David!"* Jesus touched their eyes and said, *"According to your faith, let it be done for you."* Immediately, their eyes were opened. We pray for that same touch of faith and divine intervention for this dear one, that their eyes may be fully restored to perfect health, for God’s glory.
Yet, we also acknowledge that healing may come in different forms and timings, according to God’s perfect will. Even in waiting, we trust in His goodness, remembering Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Whether through miraculous restoration or the steady progress of medical care, we pray for complete healing in Jesus’ name.
Let us also encourage this beloved one to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus. As James 5:15 tells us, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in agreement, declaring health and wholeness over their eyes, that they may see clearly and give testimony to God’s faithfulness.
Father, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon this one. Strengthen their body, restore their vision, and fill them with peace as they trust in You. May this trial become a testimony of Your power and love. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
