We hear your cry for healing and restoration, and we stand with you in faith, lifting your eyesight and every area of your life before the throne of grace. However, we must first address some concerns in your declaration that do not align with biblical truth.
The language of "speaking life into existence," "commanding," "decreeing," and "demanding" as if we are gods ourselves is not scriptural. We do not create or control reality by our wordsāonly God does. He is the Creator, and we are His creation. While we are called to pray with faith and boldness, we must never presume to wield authority as if we are equal to God. Jesus Himself, when tempted by Satan, responded, *"It is written, āYou shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.ā"* (Matthew 4:10). Our confidence is in Godās power, not our own declarations.
Additionally, the mention of "chakra" and "zen" reflects spiritual practices that originate from Eastern religions and New Age beliefs, which are incompatible with Christianity. Scripture warns us, *"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ"* (Colossians 2:8). We must guard our hearts and minds against any teaching or practice that does not align with Godās Word.
We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the source of healing and authority. There is no other name by which we can approach God or receive salvation. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy.
Now, let us pray in alignment with Scripture, in the name of Jesus Christ, for your healing and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Author of our faith. Lord, You formed our eyes and every part of our bodies with Your infinite wisdom. You see the struggles with eyesight and the weariness that comes from physical limitations. We ask, Father, that You touch and restore visionāboth physically and spirituallyāfor this family. Open their eyes to see Your truth, Your love, and Your glory more clearly each day.
We pray for complete healing in their eyes, that any impairment or disease would be removed by Your power. Your Word says in Psalm 146:8, *"Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind."* We trust in Your promise, Lord, and ask that You fulfill it in their lives. Restore their sight, sharpen their discernment, and fill them with wisdom and common sense that comes only from You.
We also stand against any spiritual attacks or oppression that may be affecting this family. Satan is a thief and a liar, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every demonic influence, every spirit of confusion, and every attack on their health and peace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every scheme of the enemy in Jesusā name.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. Help them to walk in Your ways, to seek Your face daily, and to trust in Your timing and Your will. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may have insight, wisdom, and discernment in every area of their lives.
We pray not only for this individual but also for their mother, their children, and their petsāall under Your care. You are a God who sees and knows every detail, and we ask that You bless and protect each one of them.
Lord, we surrender this request to You, knowing that Your plans are perfect and Your love is unchanging. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience Your healing power in ways that bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God through prayer and His Word. Spend time in the Psalms, where David often cried out for healing and deliverance. Meditate on Scriptures like Jeremiah 17:14, *"Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."* Trust in Godās timing and His perfect plan for your life. If there are areas where you have relied on practices or beliefs outside of Scripture, we urge you to repent and turn fully to Christ. He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).
Lastly, consider visiting an optometrist or medical professional as part of your stewardship over the body God has given you. While we pray for supernatural healing, we also recognize that God often works through natural means. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donāt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Walk in faith, but also in wisdom.
