We are deeply grieved to hear of the extreme pain you are enduring, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting this burden to Him who is the Great Physician and our Healer. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your suffering, and His heart is moved with compassion for you. We also recall the promise in **James 5:14-15**, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."*
Your mention of praying *in the name of Jesus Christ* is a powerful and necessary foundation for our petitions. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, as **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. We rejoice that you have acknowledged this truth, for it is by His name alone that we find salvation, healing, and deliverance.
Now, let us pray together for your healing and strength:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is suffering from such intense pain in their hip. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who restores and makes all things new. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon them, rebuking this pain and bringing complete restoration to their body. Let every cell, muscle, and joint align with Your perfect design, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray that You would grant them patience and endurance during this trial, reminding them that their suffering is not in vain. Use this season to draw them closer to You, to deepen their trust in Your sovereignty, and to reveal Your strength in their weakness. Lord, if there is any sin or unconfessed area in their life that may be hindering their healing, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Father, and restore them fully—spirit, soul, and body.
We also pray for the medical professionals who may be involved in their care. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment to provide the best treatment. Guide our brother/sister to the right resources and support, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.
Father, we stand on Your promises in **Isaiah 53:5**, which says, *'But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.'* We claim this healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Let this pain be lifted, and let our brother/sister testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. **Psalm 107:20** reminds us, *"He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their destructions."* Spend time meditating on Scriptures that speak of God’s healing power, such as **Exodus 15:26**, **Psalm 103:2-3**, and **1 Peter 2:24**. Let these truths anchor your faith as you wait on the Lord.
Additionally, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church body. You are not meant to walk through this alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and there is strength and comfort in community.
If this pain persists or worsens, we also encourage you to seek medical attention, trusting that God often works through the hands of doctors and medicine. Do not lose heart, for our God is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (**Romans 8:28**). We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and restoration.
