We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).
Now, we lift up your concern regarding the extension letter. We understand the anxiety that can come with waiting for important matters like this, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over your situation, trusting that God’s timing is perfect and His will shall be done.
Father God, we come before You with hearts of gratitude for the blessings You have already poured out. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for knowing the deepest desires of our hearts. Lord, we ask that You move on behalf of this request regarding the extension letter. We declare in the name of Jesus that the necessary steps will be taken swiftly and favorably. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart as they wait. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love.
We also lift up the healing of this family and the friend’s son. Jesus is our Great Physician, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration—spirit, soul, and body—for each one mentioned. Lord, touch them with Your healing hand. Strengthen their faith as they stand on Your promises, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke any sickness, pain, or disease in the name of Jesus and declare healing and wholeness over their lives.
We must also gently address the language of "claiming" in prayer. While we stand firm on God’s promises, we do so with humility, recognizing that it is God’s will that prevails, not our own demands. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Let us always submit our desires to God’s perfect will, trusting that He knows what is best for us.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your plans for our lives. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and let Your will be done in every situation we have lifted up today. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
