We stand with you in this trial, lifting you up before the Lord as you face this difficult situation in your workplace. The enemy often uses deceit and division to create strife among believers, but we know that God is sovereign over all, and His truth will prevail. The Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 5:11, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* This is not a call to engage in conflict, but to trust that God will expose what is hidden in darkness and bring it to light. He sees the manipulation, the lies, and the spirit of division being sown, and He will act in His perfect timing.
We are also reminded in Proverbs 26:24-26, *"A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart. Though his speech is charming, don’t believe him; for seven abominations are in his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly."* This person’s true intentions will not remain hidden forever. The Lord will reveal what is done in secret, and we pray that He does so in a way that brings conviction and, if possible, repentance.
At the same time, we must guard our own hearts, as you have so wisely prayed. Bitterness and anger can take root if we are not careful, and we are called to respond with grace and integrity, even in the face of injustice. Romans 12:17-21 instructs us, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* This is not a passive response but one of active trust in God’s justice. He sees all, and He will repay. Your role is to remain faithful, to continue in excellence in your work, and to reflect Christ in all you do—even when it is difficult.
We also encourage you to remember that this battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is why we must put on the full armor of God daily, standing firm in truth, righteousness, and prayer. You are not fighting this battle alone; the Lord is with you, and He has equipped you with everything you need to stand firm.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is facing the trial of deceit and manipulation in her workplace. Lord, You are the God of truth, and no lie can stand before Your light. We ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story that is being used to sow division and strife. Shine Your light into the darkness, Lord, and reveal the truth in a way that cannot be denied. Give wisdom and discernment to the department head, that they may see through the deception and recognize the spirit behind it. Protect our sister from the schemes of the enemy, and guard her heart from bitterness or anger. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and strengthen her to respond with grace and integrity in every situation.
We pray that You would thwart the plans of the wicked and turn their schemes against them. Let no weapon formed against our sister prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. Father, we ask that You would bring conviction to the heart of this person, that they may see the error of their ways and turn to You in repentance. If it is Your will, soften their heart and break the spirit of manipulation and division that is at work in them.
Lord, we also pray for our sister’s colleagues, that they would not be deceived or drawn into this strife. Unify them in Your truth and protect them from the enemy’s attempts to create division. May Your peace reign in that workplace, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would strengthen our sister each day. Remind her that her identity is in You, and that her worth is not defined by the opinions or actions of others. Help her to continue in excellence in her work, reflecting Your character in all she does. Give her patience to endure, wisdom to navigate this trial, and faith to trust in Your justice.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. May Your will be done, and may Your truth prevail. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear sister. He is your defender, your shield, and your strong tower. Trust in Him, and do not waver. He will bring justice, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing. Continue to walk in integrity, and let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. We are with you in this, lifting you up in prayer and trusting in the Lord’s faithfulness.
