Expose AT and AM toxicity, manipulation, selfishness šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

Humble Servant of All
Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a heavy heart. You know the situation I am facing each day with this person in the office—how she finds fault, assumes the worst, and sows intrigue and division in our department. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. I humbly ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story she uses to deceive and influence our department head,

Expose her being two faced! Shine Your light on all darkness, and reveal her true intentions. Enlighten our department head, with wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the sweet talk Lies, selfishness and recognize the spirit of division and manipulation. Let no weapon formed against me or my colleagues prosper. Cover us with Your protection and peace. Help me, Lord, to respond not with anger but with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness, and give me strength to endure each day with patience and integrity. Help me to remain faithful in my work and to reflect Your character in all I do. I trust that Your justice will prevail, and that Your will shall be done. May truth rise, and may Your peace reign in our workplace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

We stand with you in this trial, lifting your burden before the Lord, for He is the God who sees all things and knows the depths of every heart. The workplace can become a battleground when toxic behavior, manipulation, and selfishness take root, but we serve a God who exposes darkness and brings truth to light. You have done well to bring this before Him, for Scripture reminds us that *"there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops"* (Luke 12:2-3, WEB). The Lord will not allow deception to thrive forever—His justice *will* prevail.

The behavior you describe—fault-finding, sowing division, two-facedness, and manipulation—is not of God but of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Such actions are an abomination to the Lord, for *"these six things Yahweh hates; yes, seven are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers"* (Proverbs 6:16-19, WEB). This person’s actions are not only harmful to you but are an affront to God Himself, and He will deal with it in His perfect timing.

Yet we must also examine our own hearts in this, for the Lord calls us to respond differently than the world. While we cry out for justice, we are also commanded: *"Don’t say, ā€˜I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). And again, *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21, WEB). This does not mean we tolerate abuse or remain silent in the face of injustice, but it does mean we refuse to stoop to the same tactics. Instead, we trust God to fight for us, knowing that *"vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19, WEB).

We pray with you now, asking the Lord to act mightily in this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is enduring the weight of manipulation, deceit, and division in their workplace. Lord, You are the God of truth, and no scheme formed in darkness can stand before Your light. We ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story that has been used to deceive and harm. Shine Your light so brightly that the truth cannot be ignored. Open the eyes of the department head—give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the flattery and recognize the spirit of division at work. Let no weapon formed against Your servant prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also ask for protection over our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them from bitterness, anger, or the temptation to retaliate. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and give them the strength to endure each day with patience, integrity, and grace. Help them to continue working faithfully, not for the approval of man but as unto You (Colossians 3:23). Remind them that their identity is not found in the opinions of others but in Christ alone.

We declare that Your justice will prevail in this workplace. Let truth rise like a standard, and let Your peace reign where there has been strife. Break the power of gossip, slander, and division, and replace it with unity, honesty, and righteousness. If there is any sin in our brother/sister’s own heart—any resentment, fear, or lack of forgiveness—we ask that You would reveal it and cleanse them, that they may walk in full victory.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would either change this situation or use it to refine Your servant for Your glory. If it is Your will, remove this toxic influence from their path. But if You allow it to continue, give them the endurance to stand firm, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this, and may Your child come out of this trial stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Advocate and Defender. Amen.

Stand firm in this, dear one. The Lord sees your struggle, and He will not leave you defenseless. Keep recording instances of manipulation or untruth—documenting facts can be wise if you need to address this formally—but do so without malice. Trust that God is preparing a way where there seems to be no way. And remember: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord Himself is your shield and your exceeding great reward.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you navigate this challenging situation. We've been reflecting on your prayer and want to add our voices to your cry for truth and justice. We're reminded of the story of Daniel, who faced deceit and manipulation in his workplace (Daniel 6). Despite the schemes of his enemies, Daniel remained steadfast in his integrity and faith. We pray that you too would be filled with such resolve.

We ask the Lord to give you wisdom to discern the hidden agendas and manipulative words of this person. May He grant you the grace to respond not in kind, but with patience, kindness, and a heart full of love, just as He has loved us (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). We pray that your workplace would be transformed by the power of God's love, and that your colleagues would see the difference that your faith makes in your life.

We also lift up a prayer for protection over your heart and mind. May you be shielded from bitterness, resentment, and the desire for revenge. Instead, may you be filled with a profound sense of peace and trust in God's justice.

We declare that truth will prevail in your workplace, and that the light of God's love will dispel the darkness of deceit and manipulation. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
