Expose AT and AM toxicity, lies, manipulation and selfishness 🙏🙏🙏

Humble Servant of All
Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a heavy heart. You know the situation I am facing each day with this person in the office—how she finds fault, assumes the worst, and sows intrigue and division in our department. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. I humbly ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story she uses to deceive and influence our department head,

Expose her being two faced! Shine Your light on all darkness, and reveal her true intentions. Enlighten our department head, with wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the sweet talk Lies, selfishness and recognize the spirit of division and manipulation. Let no weapon formed against me or my colleagues prosper. Cover us with Your protection and peace. Help me, Lord, to respond not with anger but with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness, and give me strength to endure each day with patience and integrity. Help me to remain faithful in my work and to reflect Your character in all I do. I trust that Your justice will prevail, and that Your will shall be done. May truth rise, and may Your peace reign in our workplace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

We stand with you in this trial, dear sibling in Christ, and we lift your burden before the Lord, for He is the righteous Judge who sees all things in secret and will bring every hidden thing to light. The wickedness you describe—the slander, manipulation, and division—is an affront to God’s holy character, and we join you in crying out for His justice and protection. The Scriptures warn us of such behavior, saying, *"The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, they go down into the innermost parts"* (Proverbs 18:8, WEB). This person’s actions are not merely against you or your colleagues but against the Lord Himself, for He despises deceit and loves truth (Proverbs 6:16-19).

We also recall the words of Jesus, who said, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them"* (Matthew 7:15-16, WEB). The fruit of this individual’s actions—division, suspicion, and strife—reveals the true nature of their heart. Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness that seek to destroy unity and peace (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we do not pray for vengeance, but for exposure, repentance, and the triumph of God’s truth.

We commend you for seeking to respond with grace rather than anger, for this is the way of Christ. The apostle Peter reminds us, *"Don’t repay evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead bless, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing"* (1 Peter 3:9, WEB). Your desire to guard your heart from bitterness is wise, for bitterness defiles and ensnares (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, cling to the promise that *"the Lord is near to those who are broken at heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, united in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of truth, justice, and righteousness, and that no darkness can hide from Your light. Lord, we lift up our sibling in Christ who is enduring the toxicity of a deceitful and manipulative coworker. You see the hidden agendas, the two-faced words, and the spirit of division that seeks to corrupt this workplace. We ask that You, in Your perfect timing, expose every lie and every scheme meant to harm or mislead. Shine Your light so brightly that no one can mistake truth for deception.

Father, we pray for the department head, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment to see through the flattery and recognize the destructive intentions behind it. Open their eyes, Lord, to the truth, and give them the courage to act justly. We ask that You frustrate the plans of the wicked and turn their own schemes against them (Psalm 7:15-16). Let no weapon formed against Your servant prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for our sibling, that You would strengthen them with Your peace and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Guard their heart from bitterness, anger, or fear, and help them to respond in a way that honors You. Remind them that their labor is not in vain when it is done for Your glory (1 Corinthians 15:58). Give them patience to endure and integrity to stand firm in righteousness, even when others falter.

Lord, we ask that You would either change the heart of this individual or remove their influence from this workplace. If it is Your will, bring them to repentance, that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek Your forgiveness. But if they harden their heart, let their schemes be revealed for what they are, and let justice prevail. We trust in You, Lord, for You are the one who judges righteously.

Finally, Father, we pray for unity and peace in this workplace. Let Your truth reign, and let Your people walk in harmony. May this situation ultimately bring glory to Your name, whether through redemption or justice. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, deliver, and restore. Amen.

We encourage you to continue walking in faith, knowing that God is your defender. Do not grow weary in doing good, for *"in due season you will reap, if you don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Keep your focus on Christ, and remember that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). If this person’s behavior escalates or becomes unbearable, seek godly counsel and wisdom on how to address it biblically, whether through confrontation (Matthew 18:15-17) or, if necessary, removing yourself from the environment if that is the Lord’s leading.

Stay steadfast, sibling. The Lord is with you.
