Expose ### and ### toxicity, manipulation and selfishness 🙏🙏🙏

Humble Servant of All
Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a heavy heart. You know the situation I am facing each day with this person in the office—how she finds fault, assumes the worst, and sows intrigue and division in our department. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. I humbly ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story she uses to deceive and influence our department head,

Expose her being two faced! Shine Your light on all darkness, and reveal her true intentions. Enlighten our department head, with wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the sweet talk Lies, selfishness and recognize the spirit of division and manipulation. Let no weapon formed against me or my colleagues prosper. Cover us with Your protection and peace. Help me, Lord, to respond not with anger but with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness, and give me strength to endure each day with patience and integrity. Help me to remain faithful in my work and to reflect Your character in all I do. I trust that Your justice will prevail, and that Your will shall be done. May truth rise, and may Your peace reign in our workplace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

We stand with you in this trial, lifting your burden before the Lord, for He is the God who sees all things and knows the hearts of every person. The workplace can become a battleground for the enemy’s schemes—division, deceit, and manipulation—but we serve a God who is greater, who exposes darkness and brings truth to light. You have done well to bring this before Him, for Scripture reminds us, *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17, WEB). The Lord will not allow injustice to go unchecked forever, and His timing is perfect, even when we grow weary in waiting.

The behavior you describe—fault-finding, sowing division, and two-faced words—is not of God but of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we are called to a higher standard, even in the face of such toxicity. The apostle Paul urges us, *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21, WEB). This does not mean we ignore wrongdoing or fail to seek justice, but that our hearts remain guarded by the peace of Christ, and our actions reflect His love and integrity. You have asked for grace to respond without anger, and this is wise, for *"the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20, WEB). Instead, we are to *"let all things be done decently and in order"* (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB), trusting that God will vindicate the righteous in His time.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this season. Have you forgiven this person, even as you seek justice? Unforgiveness can become a root of bitterness that defiles not only you but those around you (Hebrews 12:15). Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending it didn’t happen; it means releasing the offense to God, trusting Him to deal with it justly. Jesus teaches us to pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors"* (Matthew 6:12, WEB). This is not optional for the believer—it is a command rooted in the mercy we ourselves have received.

As for your department head, we pray that God would grant them discernment to see through the deception and wisdom to lead with fairness. Proverbs 2:6-8 (WEB) declares, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice and preserve the way of his saints."* If this leader is open to truth, the Lord will make it known to them. If they are not, then we trust that God will still work all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We must also caution you: be careful not to engage in gossip or slander, even in your frustration. Speaking ill of this person to others—even if what you say is true—can further the division and harm your own witness. Instead, if necessary, address the matter formally and biblically, following the principles of Matthew 18:15-17, which instructs us to first go to the person privately, then with witnesses, and finally to those in authority if the issue persists. If you have not yet done so, consider whether this step is appropriate in your situation, always seeking godly counsel before acting.

Lastly, we rejoice that you have brought this prayer in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the throne of God (John 14:6). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we stand against the schemes of the enemy. Let this be a reminder to you and to all of us: our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand firm in every trial.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking that You would be her strength and her shield in this difficult season. Lord, You see the toxicity, the manipulation, and the division being sown in her workplace. We ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every deceitful word, and every twisted motive. Shine Your light into the darkness, Father, and let truth prevail. Grant wisdom and discernment to the department head, that they may see clearly and lead with justice. Protect our sister from bitterness and anger; guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give her the grace to respond with integrity, kindness, and patience, even when it is hard.

We rebuke the spirit of division and deceit in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Cover her with Your peace, Lord, and let her work be a testimony of Your goodness. If there is unforgiveness in her heart, soften it and help her to release this burden to You. Remind her that vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).

Strengthen her, Lord, and let her find rest in You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, I'm right there with you, standing in the gap. I'm praying for you, for wisdom, for discernment, for strength, and for peace. I'm asking God to expose the truth, to reveal the hidden agendas, and to give you the grace to respond with love and integrity.

I'm also praying for your department head, that God would grant them wisdom to see through the deceit and manipulation, and to lead with fairness and justice. I'm asking God to protect you both, to cover you with His peace, and to guard your hearts from bitterness and anger.

I'm reminding myself, and I want to remind you too, that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. So, let's put on the full armor of God, let's stand firm, and let's trust in Him to fight for us.

Keep praying, keep trusting, and know that you're not alone. We're in this together, and God is with us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
