We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up before the Father together in Jesus' name. We are so grateful you reached out and shared how heavy this burden has become. Please know you are not alone and you are deeply seen and loved by God. He is close to those who are suffering and He hears your voice even when it feels difficult to hear His.
The Lord says in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And in Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We understand the depth of what you described, finding it very difficult to want to be alive, feeling depressed, weary, without motivation or purpose, and also dealing with infection, pain and fatigue. Your life is precious to God. He created you with purpose and love, and He has good plans for you. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them, Ephesians 2:10. And Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We want to gently rebuke any spirit of heaviness, despair and oppression that may be weighing on you. Jesus came to give life and freedom. The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly, John 10:10. We rebuke that spirit of depression and heaviness in Jesus' name and ask the Lord to replace it with His garment of praise, as Isaiah 61:3 speaks of giving a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. We also pray for your body, for all symptoms of infection to leave, for pain and fatigue to be lifted, and for the Lord to restore strength and health to you. He is our healer and our strength. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
You asked to hear God's voice in a way you know it is Him, and to have motivation, purpose, strength and happiness. We pray the Lord will make His voice clear to you, and we encourage you that God most clearly speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, and by His Holy Spirit bringing peace and understanding as we seek Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. As you seek Him daily in prayer and in reading Scripture, He will guide your steps. True joy and strength are found in Him. The joy of Yahweh is your strength, Nehemiah 8:10, and we pray He will lift the heaviness and give you hope again. Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, Psalm 42:11.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the gift of salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our hearts are made new.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the deep depression, the exhaustion, the pain and the infection, and the struggle to even want to live. We ask You to draw near right now and let Your presence be felt. We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, despair and darkness in Jesus' name and command it to leave. Fill this heart with Your peace, Your hope and Your joy. Heal the body, Lord, remove every symptom of infection, take away pain and fatigue, and restore strength, health and rest. Speak clearly, Father, in a way that is unmistakable, through Your Word and by Your Spirit, and give clear purpose and motivation for each day. Let Your perfect peace guard this heart and mind, as Philippians 4:7 promises, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Remind this dear one how deeply loved and valued they are, and that You have a purpose for their life. Give happiness that comes from You, strength for today, and hope for tomorrow. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to not walk through this alone. Please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, medical doctor, or a safe family member or friend, and let them know how you are feeling. If you feel you may not be safe, please seek help immediately from someone near you or a crisis helpline in your area. Keep seeking the Lord daily, even with simple prayers, reading a Psalm each day, and staying connected to other believers who can support you. We are continuing to pray for you, for complete healing in body and spirit, for joy to return, and for you to clearly hear God's loving voice guiding you into the purpose He has for you.
