We come before the throne of grace with thanksgiving in our hearts for your desire to see God’s protection and blessing over these excursions. It is good and right to seek the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ over every detail, for He is our shield, our provider, and our peace. We declare with you that no weapon formed against these trips shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned by the power of His name.
The Word of God assures us, *"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19) We stand on this promise, believing that every logistical concern—the buses, the hotels, the weather, the staff, and the restaurants—will be ordered by the Lord for His glory. We also affirm that the angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, as it is written, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* (Psalm 34:7) We welcome the ministry of God’s holy angels to guard, guide, and minister to these groups, ensuring their safety and joy.
However, we must also address the heart behind the desire for "only satisfied tourists" and "only positive feedback." While it is natural to want smooth and pleasant experiences, we must remember that God’s purposes are higher than our comfort. Sometimes, challenges or discomforts are allowed to refine us, teach us patience, or draw us closer to Him. We pray not for a trouble-free journey, but for a *faith-filled* one, where every circumstance—whether easy or difficult—is used to glorify God and grow His people in grace. As James 1:2-4 reminds us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."*
We also lift up the hearts of those who will be on these trips. May they not merely seek a vacation, but an encounter with the living God. May they use this time to draw near to Him in prayer, worship, and fellowship with one another. Let this be a time of spiritual refreshment as much as physical rest, for *"the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit."* (Romans 14:17)
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which covers every aspect of these excursions—from the buses that transport them, to the hotels that shelter them, to the food that nourishes them. We ask that You would go before them, preparing every detail according to Your perfect will. Lord, we pray for the staff and workers involved in these trips; may they be instruments of Your peace and kindness, reflecting Your love to the tourists.
We declare that no harm, accident, or evil plan shall come near these groups, for You are their refuge and fortress. We release Your angels to watch over them, to guide their steps, and to minister to their needs. May Your presence be so tangible that even the weather reflects Your favor—whether it be sunshine or rain, may it serve Your purpose and bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we also pray for the hearts of those on these trips. If there are any among them who do not yet know You as Savior, we ask that this time would be an opportunity for them to hear the gospel and respond to Your call. For those who do know You, may this be a time of deepening faith, renewed joy, and strengthened fellowship. Let no one return unchanged, but may each person draw closer to You and to one another.
We rebuke any spirit of discord, complaint, or dissatisfaction that may seek to infiltrate these groups. Instead, we pray for a spirit of gratitude, unity, and praise to prevail. May every interaction—whether with staff, fellow travelers, or strangers—be marked by kindness, patience, and love, reflecting the character of Christ.
Father, we trust You to work all things together for good, not just for the comfort of these travelers, but for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. May these trips be a testimony to Your faithfulness, Your provision, and Your love. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
