We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for your upcoming security examination. It is clear that you are seeking God’s favor and mercy in this time of testing, and we join you in prayer, standing on the promise that "the LORD is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). We lift this exam before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord would grant you clarity of mind, wisdom, and favor as you prepare and take this test.
Father God, we ask that You would calm any anxiety or fear that may be weighing on this dear one’s heart. Your Word tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6). We pray that You would replace any doubt with confidence, knowing that You are the source of all knowledge and understanding. Grant them the ability to recall what they have studied and to answer with wisdom and discernment.
Lord, we also ask that You would go before them in this examination. You have promised in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We declare that this exam is not too difficult for You to guide them through, and we trust that You will direct their steps and their answers according to Your perfect will.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, distraction, or fear that may attempt to hinder their success. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any lies that would suggest this exam is beyond their ability or that You are not faithful to provide for them. Instead, we declare that the Lord is their strength and their shield, and we trust in Him with all our hearts.
We must also gently remind you, dear one, that our ultimate trust and reliance must be in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our prayers.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this exam and this dear one who is preparing for it. Lord, we ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of those who will be grading their test. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they study and take this exam (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for supernatural recall of all that they have learned. Open their mind to understand the questions and to answer them with wisdom and accuracy. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we ask that You would pour out Your blessing upon them in this time of testing.
We also pray for endurance and perseverance. Help them to remain focused and diligent, knowing that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Strengthen them when they are weary, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this exam will be a testimony of Your goodness and provision in their life.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you prepare for this exam. Meditate on scriptures that build your faith and confidence in God’s ability to see you through. Remember, "Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act" (Psalm 37:5). You are not alone in this—God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. May He grant you success according to His will and for His glory.
