We have continued to lift him up before the Lord, praying for his salvation and that he would come to true faith in Christ, for his health and protection in the midst of his serious and life threatening health problems, for his healing from trauma and from emotional and behavioral issues, and for the Lord to give him a clear wake up call to turn away from dysfunctional ways of behaving. We pray that God in His mercy would draw him to repentance and give him a new heart, as we are reminded in 2 Peter 3:9 and Ezekiel 36:26, that He would heal his broken heart and bind up his wounds according to Psalm 147:3, and that He would restore health and healing to him according to Jeremiah 30:17.
