Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand together in agreement with your prayer, lifting up this landlord before the throne of grace. The verse you shared from Luke 9:24 (WEB) reminds us, "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is a profound truth, salvation comes not through clinging to the things of this world but through surrender to Christ. We pray that this landlord would come to know the depth of this truth, that his heart would be softened to receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus, who alone can save.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would draw this landlord to Yourself, breaking every chain of darkness that may be blinding him to the truth. Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that they might not see the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ. But we know that where Your light shines, darkness cannot remain (John 1:5). We rebuke every spirit of deception, hardness of heart, and resistance to the Gospel in this man’s life. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully, convicting him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), so that he may turn to You in repentance and faith.

Lord Jesus, we declare Your victory over this situation. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16), and no one can withstand Your power. We ask that You would surround this landlord with believers who will shine Your light before him, that he may see Your goodness and be drawn to You (Psalm 34:8). Soften his heart, Lord, and let him experience Your love in a tangible way. May he come to understand that true life is found only in You (John 14:6), and that surrendering to You is the path to eternal joy and peace.

We also pray for wisdom and grace in how we, as believers, interact with him. Let our lives be a testimony of Your transforming power, so that he may see Christ in us (Galatians 2:20). If there are any areas where we have not represented You well, reveal them to us, Lord, so that we may walk in humility and love toward him.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are not slow concerning Your promises (2 Peter 3:9), and You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this landlord come to know You as his Savior and Lord, and may his life be a testament to Your grace.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing your landlord before the Lord so faithfully. It is clear you care deeply not just about the apartment situation but about his life and where he will spend eternity, and we want to stand with you in that.

We know it can feel heavy to pray for someone when you cannot see what God is doing in his heart. Often coming to know Jesus is not a single moment but a process over time as a person hears, observes, and begins to soften toward the gospel. Your steady prayers and the way you interact with him, even in practical matters around the rent and the apartment, are part of that quiet witness.

One simple next step that may help is to keep a regular, brief time to pray for him by name, asking for opportunities for him to see Christ's love clearly, and to respond as God draws him. If you have ongoing contact, continuing to be fair, kind and calm in those exchanges can speak as loudly as words.

Father, we lift this landlord to You. You see his life and his needs. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to Your love in Jesus, and guide him on his journey. Give our friend peace as he trusts You with both the apartment needs and this man's soul. Work in both lives according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request concerning the solemn word of our Lord in Luke 9:24 has been laid before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for the soul of this man.

That verse stands as a faithful warning and a blessed promise, for whoever seeks to save his life by holding it for himself shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ's sake shall save it. There is no other way of salvation, for God has found one ransom and no other, and that ransom is the precious blood of His own Son who bore the penalty that sinners might be delivered from going down to the Pit. We are by nature under the power of darkness, and the Prince of Darkness holds sway until Christ delivers us, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. No man can break those chains himself, but He who is gracious says, Deliver him, for I have found a ransom.

Remember also what has been taught concerning landlord and tenant, that the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord and we are only tenants at His will, holding our possession from moment to moment. This man who is landlord over an earthly dwelling is himself but a tenant before the great Landlord of heaven and earth, and none can be surety for his brother, for each must look to his own soul, as all must stand before God to be removed either to heaven or to hell, for none can escape from immortality. How needful then that he should yield his life to Christ while the door of mercy stands open.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Fountain of love and mercy, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone sinners are saved, and we ask Your mercy upon this landlord. You reign over all darkness and Your light expels it. We pray that You would deliver him from the power of darkness and translate him into the kingdom of Your dear Son. Let him hear the gospel, feel his need of a ransom, and lose his life for Jesus that he may truly save it. Keep back his soul from the Pit and his life from perishing, and grant him repentance and faith to believe with the heart unto righteousness and to confess with the mouth unto salvation. Work in him by Your free grace, for salvation is all of grace, and none can deliver himself. Grant also to the one who has prayed for him grace to walk in holiness and truth before You, seeking first Your kingdom and trusting Your faithful provision in all earthly habitations. We ask this not according to our will but according to Your perfect will and for the glory of Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

We join you in prayer according to the word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. We ask for your mercy and grace upon this landlord. We pray that you would open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, that he would turn from sin and trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross, and that he would lose his life for Jesus in repentance and faith so that he will truly save it and not lose it. Deliver him from evil and bring him into sonship through Christ, that he may receive adoption and the Spirit of adoption, and live as a new creation in you. Let your light expel all darkness, and grant him life that endures beyond death, for you have taught us not to fear what can harm the body but to cling to the immortality of the soul found in you.

We also pray for the one who has brought this request, that you would strengthen faith to follow you fully, to count all things loss for the sake of Christ, and to walk in holiness and wisdom. In this rented apartment situation, we ask for your peace, your provision, and your guidance. Lead all involved to order their lives according to your good design, honoring you in every relationship and household, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all intimacy belongs within it, and purity outside of it is for our good and your glory. Give clarity, upright conduct, and a testimony that points to your greatness and power.

We thank you for your love and faithfulness, and we trust that your mighty power is able to save and to keep. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
