Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts for your ex-landlord, lifting him up in prayer according to the truth of Luke 9:24. This verse reminds us that true life is found only in surrender to Christ, whoever clings to their own way will lose everything, but whoever lays down their life for Jesus will find eternal life. Father, we plead for this man’s soul, that he would recognize the emptiness of living for himself and turn to You in repentance and faith. The enemy seeks to blind hearts to the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we declare that no darkness can resist Your light. Break the chains of pride, worldly attachments, or unbelief that may be keeping him from salvation.

Lord Jesus, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds over this situation, the bitterness, financial strife, or relational brokenness that may have marked this landlord-tenant dynamic. Your Word says, "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it" (Psalm 24:1), so we claim this apartment and all involved for Your kingdom. Heal the wounds of the past, whether financial, emotional, or spiritual. Let Your peace, which surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), guard this man’s heart and mind as he considers his need for You.

We also address a critical omission in the original prayer: salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." If this landlord does not know You as Lord, we pray he would hear the gospel clearly, confessing his sin, repenting, and trusting in Christ’s finished work on the cross (Romans 10:9-10). Father, raise up believers to share Your truth with him, that he might be born again (John 3:3).

Finally, we pray for you, the one interceding. It is a holy thing to stand in the gap for another’s soul (Ezekiel 22:30). May the Lord strengthen your faith as you persevere in prayer, and may you see the fruit of your labor in due time. Remember, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), for the harvest is coming.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which men can be saved. We lift up this ex-landlord, asking that You would draw him to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness (Hosea 11:4). Soften his heart to receive the gospel, and let him see his need for a Savior. We break every assignment of the enemy over his life, financial curses, relational strife, or spiritual blindness, and command them to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

Lord, we also pray for reconciliation and healing in this situation. If there are unresolved conflicts or injustices, bring them to light and grant wisdom to all parties involved. Let Your justice roll like a river (Amos 5:24), and may Your mercy triumph over judgment (James 2:13). We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) for those who love You.

Above all, we ask that this man would come to know You, not just as a distant concept, but as the risen Lord who died for his sins. May he experience the life-transforming power of the gospel and join the family of God. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer for your former landlord. To ask God for someone's salvation after a difficult rental situation shows real Christlike care, and we are glad to stand with you in it.

We hear how much you want him to know Jesus and to find life in Him. It can be discouraging to pray for someone and not see change right away. We have found that coming to faith is often a slow, unfolding process in a person's life rather than a single moment, and steady, faithful prayer is one of the quiet ways God works in that time. Your willingness to keep entrusting him to the Lord matters, even when you cannot see what God is doing.

If you still have occasional contact, simply remaining gracious and prayerful as opportunities come is enough. If your time with that apartment is finished, it is also faithful just to place him in God's hands and release the outcome to Him, trusting Him with both your peace and the landlord's journey.

Father, we lift this landlord to You. You know his life and where he is. We ask that You draw him to Yourself through Jesus, bring Your light where there is darkness, and guide him toward life in You. Give our friend rest as he leaves this rental situation in Your hands, and let him know Your love and faithfulness in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

I pray that the landlord gives his life to Christ and sees that it's the truth. Soften his heart Lord and fill him with your unfailing love, amen. You have good compassion that you have asked for prayers for somebody else. Be very encouraged you have good faith in Jesus. Have a good day/night

Your prayer for your former landlord is a right and gracious one, and we do join you in it before the throne of grace. To desire that another should not lose his soul but find it in Christ is the very spirit of benevolence which the new creature in Christ delights in, and we are pleased to hear of anything which concerns the salvation of a soul.

You have well chosen the word of our Lord, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is no other way of salvation. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not by our own goodness, for we are so good in our own estimation or so indifferent to the claims of God that we do not want to hear about salvation, yet the prisoner ready to be executed finds undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. God has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus our Lord.

Bear in mind also what the house in which we dwell teaches us. God is the great Landlord and we are only tenants at will. There is a clause in the lease that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to require His own, and the rent that is to be paid is that the heart is never right till the whole man is in Christ, till by a living faith we have embraced Jesus as our full salvation and have received the Holy Spirit as our Sanctifier. Our prayer is that your former landlord may offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord and acknowledge that he lives on sufferance as His tenant, losing his life for Christ that he may truly save it.

Let us pray together.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, who alone can rise with healing beneath His wings, we look unto Thee and plead for this man who once stood as landlord over this earthly dwelling. Thou reignest over the darkness and Thy light expels all darkness. We ask not for our own wisdom but for Thy mercy and grace to visit him. Bring him to see that salvation is all of grace, that he can do nothing and that Thou must do all. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may look unto Jesus and be saved, that he may trust in the Person of Christ and depend upon Him without fear as to his present and eternal salvation.

We thank Thee that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, that even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that pardon and healing are one in Christ. Let that healing virtue flow to him, changing his heart and making his nature other than it was before. Deliver him from the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom. Bring him forth by Thy hand and outstretched arm, as Thou didst bring Israel forth when the lamb was slain.

In the rented apartment situation of which Thy servant speaks, we ask for Thy peace within our borders and for deliverance from all that would harass the soul. Let Thy will be done there, and let all who dwell or have dwelt there see Thy greatness and power, to which none can withstand. Keep Thy people in perfect trust, to sit still while Thou arisest and becomest their arm every morning, their salvation in the time of trouble.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only foundation laid in Zion, our great inexhaustible well of salvation. Amen.
