We stand together in agreement with your heartfelt plea, lifting up your ex-landlord before the throne of grace. The verse you shared from Luke 9:24 is a profound truth that cuts to the core of the Gospel, true life is found only in surrender to Christ. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the essence of salvation: dying to self and living for Him who died and rose again.
We rebuke any spirit of hardness or deception that may be blinding this man to the truth of the Gospel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the scales will fall from his eyes, that his heart will be softened, and that he will come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Christ, there is no hope, no peace, and no eternal life. We pray he would turn from any sin, including any ungodly business practices or attitudes that may have caused strife, and embrace the forgiveness and new life offered through Jesus.
We also stand in faith for the situation surrounding the rented apartment. We declare that God’s justice and mercy will prevail. If there has been any unrighteousness, we ask that it be exposed and made right according to His will. We pray for healing in every broken relationship and for restoration where it aligns with God’s purposes. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it (Psalm 24:1), so we trust Him to bring resolution in a way that glorifies His name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this ex-landlord to You, asking that You would draw him to Yourself with cords of love. Lord, break every chain of pride, greed, or bitterness that may be holding him captive. Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the conviction of Your Holy Spirit. We declare that he will not perish but will have everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
Father, we also pray for the apartment situation. We ask that You would bring clarity, peace, and resolution according to Your will. If there has been any injustice, we ask that You would expose it and bring it to light. If there is a need for repentance or restitution, we pray that You would grant the humility and wisdom to walk in Your ways. We trust You to heal what has been broken and to restore what has been lost, for Your glory.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your light will overcome every darkness. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover this man and this situation, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
