Ex landlord (mute/opposing/dysfunctional communication)

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand with you in agreement, lifting this situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your heart for this ex-landlord is evident, and we join you in praying for his salvation and transformation. The verse you referenced, Luke 9:24, is a powerful reminder of the surrender required to follow Christ. Let us expand on this with the World English Bible:

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." (Luke 9:24 WEB)

This truth is at the very core of the Gospel. Salvation comes not by our own efforts or self-preservation, but by laying down our lives at the feet of Jesus. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we find true life. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict this man’s heart, drawing him to repentance and faith in Christ.

Father God, we come before You with boldness, knowing that no heart is too hard for You to soften, no darkness too deep for Your light to penetrate. We lift up this ex-landlord to You, asking that You would break every chain of pride, bitterness, or dysfunction that has hindered his ability to communicate and respond in a godly manner. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of opposition or muteness that does not align with Your will. We declare that Your love and truth will prevail in this situation.

We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your presence, Jesus. Let him experience Your peace, Your mercy, and Your transforming power. May he come to the end of himself and surrender his life fully to You, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We ask that You would replace his hardened heart with a heart of flesh, tender toward You and others (Ezekiel 36:26).

We also pray for wisdom and grace in how to navigate this situation practically. Father, give us discernment to know when to speak, when to act, and when to trust You to move in ways we cannot see. We declare that this apartment situation is under Your authority, and we trust You to bring resolution that glorifies Your name. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just for this man, but for all who witness Your work.

Lord, we thank You for Your promise that "if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14 WEB). We know that it is Your will for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and so we stand in faith, believing that You are at work even now. We declare that Your light will shine in this darkness, and Your love will overcome every obstacle.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We were thankful to read your prayer and your heart behind it. Wanting your former landlord to come to know Jesus, even while communication has been so difficult and frustrating, is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love.

Carrying a rented apartment situation where the other person is muted and opposing can be wearying. It is hard to know what to do when every attempt to talk seems to go nowhere. We admire that you are choosing to entrust both the practical situation and his soul to the Lord who reigns over darkness and brings light.

When communication has broken down, it often helps to keep things simple and clear on your side. Keeping a calm written record of what has been said and what is still unresolved can protect your peace and give you clarity if you need wise counsel about next steps. At the same time you can continue to release his heart to God, trusting that the Lord can work even when conversation between you cannot.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You in Jesus' name. Draw him gently to Yourself and open his heart to Your saving grace and truth. We ask for Your mercy over his life's journey. Bring Your peace and wisdom into this apartment matter, guide our friend with discernment and grace in each interaction, and let Your light and faithfulness be seen. Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in prayer according to the word of our Lord, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

How true and searching is this word. Our Lord teaches that salvation is not found in holding fast to self, but in yielding self wholly to Him. There is no other way of salvation, for beside Him there is none else. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, and to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. This salvation is without money and without price, freely offered by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, and it is irreversible to all who commit their souls into His hands.

We also remember that the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. The Great Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to call us to account, and the rent that is due is not paid in silver or gold, but in a heart made right by living faith in Christ, embracing Jesus as full salvation and receiving the Holy Spirit as Sanctifier. May we each offer the key of our house to Him and acknowledge that we live on sufferance as His tenants.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, Thou reignest over the darkness and Thy light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits. We declare that victory is Thine and we ask for Thy healing power and mercy in this rented apartment situation. We lift this former landlord before Thy throne of grace. Thou knowest the mute and opposing and dysfunctional communication that has caused distress. We ask not for strife, but for grace to abound.

We pray that Thou wilt, by Thy Holy Spirit, bring this man to see his need and to look unto Thee and be saved. Grant him to lose his life for Thy sake, that he may truly save it. Draw him to simple faith, to trust in Thy person and Thy finished work alone, apart from all merit of his own. Show him that salvation is Thy salvation, planned by Thee, provided by Thee, and that it is found in Thee alone. May he believe on Thee with his whole heart and not be ashamed.

Have mercy upon him, O Lord, and grant him repentance and new life. Let him see Thy greatness and Thy power, that no one can withstand Thy mighty hand, and that Thy love and faithfulness endure. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Thou art gracious and Thy salvation is common to all who believe.

We thank Thee for hearing prayer and for the promise that he that asketh shall receive, and he that seeketh shall find. May Thy will be done and Thy name be glorified in this matter. In Thy holy and saving name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer over this difficult situation with your former landlord and we bring your request before the Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray with you from Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father to have mercy on this man and to draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We pray that the Holy Spirit would open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, that he would turn from trusting in himself and give his life fully to the Lord Jesus, so that he would not lose his life but receive eternal life. We pray that he would be enlightened, forgiven, and adopted as a son through faith in Christ.

We also pray for you in this rented apartment situation where communication has been opposed and dysfunctional. We ask the Lord to give you peace and patience as you endure this conflict, and to guard your heart from being consumed by the things of this life. May you be kept from vainglory and covetousness, and may you remember that your true treasure is above and cannot be stolen. We ask God to grant wisdom for every practical step that remains, to provide a just and peaceful resolution where possible, and to help you to not rush into further conflict but to wait quietly on Him and to show gentleness.

We thank the Lord that He reigns over all darkness and that His light is stronger than any darkness. We ask for His grace to rest on you and on your former landlord, that both of you would see His greatness and power, and that His will would be done. We trust His love and faithfulness to carry you through this time and to work for the salvation of all involved.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.

Your prayer for your former landlord to come to know Jesus is right and good, and I join you in it. The verse you shared goes to the heart of what salvation means. Jesus said that whoever tries to hold on to his own life will lose it, but whoever surrenders his life for Jesus will save it. That surrender is not just an idea. It is turning from a self centered life, denying the claims of the flesh, taking up the cross and following Him. It is how a person is reconciled to God and enters life in the Spirit.

The Scripture teaches that the grace of God and salvation belong together. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and that grace is offered freely. It is a great salvation because it is open to anyone who will come. Whoever believes in Him, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. It reaches even the lowest sinner, and no one who truly comes to Jesus will be turned away. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He saves His people from their sins.

That is why the Bible urges us not to receive the grace of God in vain and not to neglect so great a salvation. There is no escape if we neglect it. The Word says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Salvation is not far off. It is near, as close as the mouth and the heart. If a person confesses with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, he will be saved. To confess and submit to Him now means salvation and eternal life. A time is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but that later confession will not be unto salvation. Today is the time to respond, because to go past God's appointed time is to lose the opportunity, and our eternal destiny is at stake.

I also hear the pain of the difficult and broken communication you have experienced, and the tension around the apartment. We live in the midst of a real spiritual conflict, and we see its effects in strife and hardship. Yet Jesus reigns over the darkness, and His light drives it out. Our greatest need and the greatest victory in any situation is to be at peace with God through Jesus Christ. That peace comes not by our own effort or by working for salvation, but by receiving what Christ has done for us by grace through faith. We are His workmanship, saved by His work, not our own, so that no one can boast. Once we have received that grace we have assurance and peace with God.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your great love and faithfulness and for the grace that brings salvation. You alone are the way of salvation and there is no other. I ask in Your name that You would have mercy on this landlord and draw him to Yourself. By Your Spirit speak to his heart while today is still the day of salvation. Help him to see his need, to turn from living for himself, and to surrender his life to You, confessing You as Lord and believing You were raised from the dead. Save him, forgive him, and make him new. Drive out all darkness and bring him into Your light and peace. And for the one who prayed, grant comfort, wisdom and grace in this difficult situation, that in all things Your greatness and power would be seen. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your former landlord and the difficult rented apartment situation with mute and opposing and dysfunctional communication.

We have continued to lift up this situation before the Lord with you and to stand on the truth of Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We have been praying that your ex landlord will surrender his life to our Lord Jesus Christ so that he will not lose it, and that the Lord will bring healing and restoration to the communication and expel all darkness as His light reigns over all darkness and unclean spirits. We join with you in declaring victory over this situation in Jesus Name and asking for the Lord to guide this man on his life journey with mercy and grace and to reveal His greatness and power.

We pray together now, Father we thank You for Your love and faithfulness and for Your mighty power that no one can withstand. We ask that You continue to work in the heart of this landlord and draw him to salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ. Let Your light shine into every place of darkness and bring peace and wholeness where there has been dysfunction and opposition. We ask for Your mercy and grace to rest upon all affected by this situation. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
