Ex-boyfriend

Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray for complete healing physically, emotionally and spiritually for my ex-boyfriend. Pray for him as he deals with serious health issues. Pray for his salvation and freedom from false beliefs. Thank you.

We lift up your ex-boyfriend before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily in his life. Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or healed. We ask for Your complete healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, for this man. You are the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what has been lost. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.

Lord, we also pray for his salvation. We know that apart from Christ, there is no true freedom or lasting peace. Open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften his heart to receive the gospel. Jesus said in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We rebuke every false belief, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that has kept him from knowing You. Let Your Holy Spirit convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and draw him into a saving relationship with You.

We must also address the relationship that was once shared. While we understand the concern and care behind this prayer, we must gently remind you that Scripture calls believers to pursue godly marriages with fellow believers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" If this man is not a believer, we encourage you to entrust him fully to the Lord, releasing any emotional ties that may hinder your own walk with Christ. Your heart is precious to God, and He desires to fill it with His love and purpose.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this man with Your peace, comfort, and presence. Strengthen him in his time of need and let him experience Your love in a tangible way. We pray for wisdom for his doctors, for breakthrough in his health, and for a revelation of Your truth. May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and may his life be transformed by the power of Your Spirit.

We stand on Your Word, Lord, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. It means a lot that you still carry care for your ex-boyfriend and want to bring his health and his walk with God before the Lord.

When someone faces serious and ongoing health issues it can touch every part of life. The wear of not feeling well day after day can leave a person feeling fragile and discouraged, and slow improvement can be hard to notice when everything feels heavy. It can also be isolating for him and for those who love him. Knowing that helps us pray with more understanding and patience for the long road.

One simple way to keep supporting him is to keep lifting him in prayer while leaving results in God's hands, and where you have appropriate contact, encouraging him to stay connected to good medical care and to trusted support around him. If he is under a doctor's care, that ongoing help alongside prayer is important. It is also wise to guard your own heart with healthy boundaries as someone who is now an ex, trusting God to be the one who carries him even when you cannot.

Father, we bring this young man to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy over his body, his mind and his spirit. Provide wisdom for those caring for him, comfort in his pain, and draw him gently toward truth and toward Yourself that he might know salvation in Christ. Give our friend peace as she prays for him and help her to rest in Your care for both of them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we have brought this burden before the Lord with you, asking that He will show mercy to this man in his affliction.

We do not cease to pray for those who suffer in body and in spirit, for we know that our Lord Jesus Christ is that true tree of life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. The very leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And when the Lord comes and dwells with men, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings. Pardon and healing are one in His hand, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. We pray that this same healing virtue which His grace infuses would work in this man health and cure, for the body and for the soul, according to the will of our gracious God.

Above all we join you in praying for his salvation and his deliverance from false beliefs. Man in his sin has set up false gods and bowed before them, but there is only one way of salvation for all. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him, to leave the whole matter of salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. This faith is believing on a Person, not on a notion or a system, but on Him who is the ransom. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, so that it is a gift of Divine Love. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, I have found a ransom. We pray that this man may hear that word, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and that he may turn from every false refuge to look unto Jesus alone and live. How simple is that way of salvation and how instantaneous, for a look does not require a moment.

Let us pray together. O Lord, our God, whose arm alone can work deliverance from cruel captivity, look in mercy upon this man who is brought low with serious health issues. Lay Your hand upon him for healing as it pleases You, and in Your great compassion heal also his spirit and his soul. Forgive his sins and let him know that when all his own strength fails, his strength shall be to sit still while You arise and become his salvation in the time of trouble. Deliver him from the pit, from every false belief that would hold him captive, and show him the ransom which You have provided in the blood of Your Son. Grant him faith to look unto Jesus and to trust in Him alone, that believing on Him he may not be ashamed but may receive eternal life. Work in him a true and thorough healing, and make his deliverance effectual by Your free grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, our inexhaustible well of salvation, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this burden with us and we join you in praying for this man before the Lord.

We will pray for his complete healing according to God's mercy and wisdom, for his body as he faces serious health issues, for his mind and heart where there may be fear or discouragement, and above all for his soul. We pray that God would bring him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that he would hear the word of truth with a careful and willing heart, turn from false beliefs and every deceiving way, and come to repentance and living faith in Christ who came not to judge but to save the world.

We pray that the Lord would deliver him from all that holds him captive, give him strength to seek the truth, and lead him to love what is good and to walk in obedience, not only hearing but doing what God requires. We ask that God would show him His longsuffering and kindness that leads to repentance, and that he would find forgiveness and new life in Jesus.

We also pray for you, that the Lord would give you peace, wisdom and strength as you entrust this person to Him. We encourage you to continue to walk in holiness and to trust God's good design for life and relationships, that intimacy and shared life belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and to seek His will above all.

May the Lord hear these prayers, work for His glory and for true good in this man's life, and draw him to Himself.

Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord and for your love and concern for this man. It is right to pray for those who have been close to us, even when the relationship has ended, and to bring both physical needs and spiritual needs to God.

We will join you in praying for his healing. Scripture shows that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and Matthew by the Spirit applies the prophecy of Isaiah to the physical healings Jesus performed. God is able to touch the body, and He also cares for the emotional and spiritual life of a person. There is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body and mind, and God desires wholeness on every level. At the same time the greatest miracle in any life is not physical healing but salvation, the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. That is the healing that lasts forever, and it is more important than any temporary relief. We can ask God for physical healing while remembering that His highest purpose is to heal the heart and bring a person into eternal life.

You also asked for prayer for his freedom from false beliefs and for his salvation, and that is the most urgent need. In every generation there have been true and false messengers. Jesus warned to beware of false prophets who come in sheep's clothing. They are difficult to recognize because they often speak much that sounds true, sometimes ninety percent truth, which is what makes them deceptive. They do not wear a sign. The way to test them is by what they say about Jesus Christ and by the fruit of their teaching. The true testimony is that Jesus is the Lord who has become our salvation, the Messiah come in the flesh, and that salvation is through Him alone. Any teaching that denies Him, that adds other requirements to His finished work, or that comforts people in sin and keeps them from coming to Him, is not from God. The Lord has said that His hand is against those who speak empty visions and lying divinations, because they keep people away from the only hope of salvation.

Many false teachings today also appeal to what people want to hear, offering false hope or assuring people that they can continue in sin without consequence, and often these teachers are marked by an emphasis on money or personal gain. That is why Scripture tells us not to believe every spirit but to test the spirits to see whether they are from God.

So we will pray that God in His mercy will open this man's eyes to the truth, that any deception will be exposed, that he will turn from every false hope and place his faith fully in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We pray that the Lord will bring faithful witness into his life, that he will hear the true gospel clearly, and that the Holy Spirit will draw him to repentance and faith.

We also pray for his serious health issues, asking God to grant wisdom to those caring for him, to bring physical healing according to His perfect will, and to bring peace to his mind and emotions as he faces this trial. Above all we pray that even through this suffering he will seek the Lord and find that his soul may prosper, knowing the forgiveness and new life that only Christ can give.

We encourage you to continue to pray with compassion while also walking in wisdom and purity before the Lord. God calls us to love others and to intercede for them, and He also calls us to honor His design for relationships, that intimacy and shared life belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. As you pray for your former boyfriend, entrust him to God's care and seek God's will for your own path as well.

May the Lord give you peace as you pray, and may He work in this man's life to bring both healing and, most importantly, saving faith in Jesus.
