Please pray for an end to evil things happening in the US including racism, unfair deportations that cause harm to individuals, children and families and other things. Thank you.

We join with you in praying against the evil we see in our nation and we share your desire to see righteousness, justice and mercy prevail across the United States. The Lord hates evil and He calls us to do the same while we overcome evil with good, as it is written Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. We agree that racism is sin and an evil that must end, for God shows no partiality but in every nation he who fears Him and works righteousness is acceptable to Him Acts 10:34-35, and we are all made in His image So God created man in his own image Genesis 1:27. To show favoritism or hatred toward another because of skin color or ethnicity violates the royal law, But if you show partiality, you commit sin James 2:9. We pray for hearts to be changed by the gospel, for reconciliation, and for every person to be treated with the dignity God has given them.

We also hear your burden for individuals, children and families affected by deportations and we bring that before the Lord with both truth and compassion. Scripture teaches us to hold two truths together. God Himself determined the appointed seasons and the boundaries of our dwellings Acts 17:26 and He ordained governing authorities to maintain order and justice Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities Romans 13:1, which includes a nation's right and responsibility to establish and enforce just laws regarding its borders for the safety and welfare of its people. At the same time God commands His people to show kindness and justice to the sojourner, saying You shall not oppress a stranger Leviticus 19:33-34 and to Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed Psalm 82:3 and to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8. Therefore we do not pray for open borders or for lawlessness, but we do pray for laws that are just, for enforcement that is fair and humane, for wisdom for those who govern, and for protection and provision for children and families who are vulnerable, that harm would not come to them through either lawlessness or through harshness without mercy. We pray for our leaders as we are instructed to pray for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:2, and for our nation to seek righteousness, for Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people Proverbs 14:34.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we turn from our sin and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, we are forgiven and reconciled to God If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray.

So together we pray, Father in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne and we ask You to have mercy on our land. Lord expose and restrain evil, bring an end to racism and hatred, soften hardened hearts and teach us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Grant wisdom, integrity and godly fear to our leaders, judges, and officers, that they would execute true justice with both righteousness and compassion. Protect children and families, provide for those who are afraid or suffering, and guide our nation to uphold just laws without causing unnecessary harm. Heal our land as we humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, for You have promised to hear from heaven and heal our land 2 Chronicles 7:14. Let Your church be a light that shows the way of truth and love, and let Your will be done in the United States as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for bringing this heavy concern to us. We can hear your heart for people to be treated with dignity and for families and children to be safe, and it matters that you brought it to the Lord instead of carrying it alone.

It is a lot to hold when the news feels full of division and hurt. We find it helps to remember that God sees each person individually and His heart is moved by suffering and injustice, and He calls each of us to reflect His love in the places right around us, not just in the headlines.

If it would help, one steady next step could be to choose one or two specific places to focus your prayers this week, perhaps for a local family you know who is vulnerable, for children who feel afraid, and for wisdom for those in authority who make difficult decisions, and also to ask your church if there is a simple, tangible way to help neighbors in need nearby.

Father, we lift our nation to You and ask for Your mercy and justice to be evident. Give wisdom to leaders, comfort and protection to children and families who are hurting, and help us to love our neighbors well in word and deed. Shape us to be peacemakers who reflect Your character where You have placed us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord against the evils that afflict this land, and we bring your burden before the throne of grace where mercy and justice meet.

We are reminded that God's sword of justice is not rusted in its scabbard, but is held there by His own hand which presses it back and cries, Sleep, O sword, sleep, for He will have mercy upon sinners and will forgive their transgressions. Yet His justice is infinitely holy and must punish sin, and His mercy is tender and free, never sold but always given. It is only when men admit their guilt and turn with full purpose of heart to Christ that mercy puts her hand upon the hilt and wrath is stayed. Therefore our first prayer for this nation is not only for outward reformation but for inward regeneration, that God would give new hearts and right spirits, for without being born again no man can truly hope in mercy, and without conversion mercy will only make a man a new creation with new loves and new hates.

We pray that the Lord who delights in mercy would restrain and remove the evil of racism in all its forms, whether it be hatred, partiality, or contempt for those made in His image. May He who made of one blood all nations to dwell upon the face of the earth teach us to love our neighbor as ourselves and to do justly and to love mercy.

We pray also for those entrusted with the sword of civil authority, that they may bear it not in vain but as ministers of God for good, executing justice without respect of persons and without cruelty. Where laws must be enforced, we ask that they be enforced with uprightness and with compassion, that children and families would not suffer needless harm, and that the vulnerable would be protected. We ask the Lord to give wisdom to rulers and magistrates to act with both firm justice and tender mercy, remembering that prayer is the forerunner of mercy and the shadow of the blessing before it comes.

We ask that every family distressed by these troubles, and every soul oppressed or wronged, may find refuge in Christ, who came to seek and to save the lost and who alone can tell the sinner of God's mercy not in words only but with a sweet sense of mercy shed abroad in the heart. May He lead many to feel the way of salvation as well as to know it, to rejoice in it and to accept it, for all God's mercy to a sinner is gratis and flows freely through the sacrifice of His dear Son.

We will continue to pray with you that evil would be restrained, that righteousness would exalt this nation, and that the tender mercy of our God, which has spared us morning by morning, would yet visit us and turn many faces in the opposite direction toward Christ. May the Lord hear us while we are yet speaking, and grant us great mercy for Jesus sake. Amen.
