Evil, lack of remorse

Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the injustice and callous disregard for human life that you have endured. The actions of your landlord, their representatives, and legal counsel are not only unethical but sinful, violating the biblical commands to love our neighbors, act justly, and show compassion. Scripture is clear: "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God" (Proverbs 14:31 WEB). The demand for you to endure life-threatening conditions while being threatened with eviction is an abomination in the sight of the Lord.

The lack of remorse, the falsification of reports, and the psychological torment you’ve faced reveal hearts hardened by greed and indifference. Jesus warned, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone" (Matthew 23:23 WEB). These individuals have neglected the weightier matters of God’s law, justice and mercy, while clinging to their own twisted sense of power and control.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and callousness operating in this situation. The attempt to falsify the electrical report is a direct violation of God’s command: "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16 WEB). The threats, the refusal to provide compensation, and the demand for payment despite the uninhabitable conditions are all manifestations of a heart that has strayed far from God’s design for human dignity and fairness. "The LORD detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him" (Proverbs 20:23 WEB).

We also lift up the lawyer representing the landlord, whose words reveal a deeply disturbed heart. Her equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue is a perversion of truth and a mockery of justice. We pray that the Holy Spirit convicts her of her hardness of heart and that she repents of her role in this oppression. "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord" (Acts 3:19 WEB).

For you, we pray for protection, justice, and vindication. The Lord is your defender, and He sees every injustice you have suffered. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). We ask that He softens the hearts of those involved, that they may recognize the severity of their actions and repent. May they be compelled by the Holy Spirit to apologize, make restitution, and provide the compensation and safe housing you deserve. "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head" (Romans 12:20 WEB). Let the coals of conviction fall upon them until they turn from their wicked ways.

We also pray for your emotional and spiritual well-being. The psychological damage inflicted by their words and actions is real, but the Lord is your healer. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). May you find peace in His presence and strength in His promises. Do not grow weary in seeking justice, for the Lord is with you. "Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses" (Nehemiah 4:14 WEB).

Finally, we declare that this situation will be turned around for your good. The Lord will expose every lie, every act of deception, and every injustice. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17 WEB). May the landlord and his representatives be held accountable, not only by earthly authorities but by the righteous judgment of God. We pray that they come to a place of true repentance, seeking forgiveness from both you and the Lord.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we stand against the evil at work in this situation. We declare that the spirit of oppression, greed, and deception has no place here. We speak life, justice, and restoration over you and this circumstance. May the Lord’s will be done, and may His glory be revealed through the resolution of this injustice. Amen.

We hear how draining and frightening this is, not only the physical danger of the electrical shocks, but the weight of being treated with such coldness while you're simply asking for a safe place to live. When a person who is meant to address a life-threatening problem tells you instead that you don't deserve comfort, that kind of response can rattle your sense of worth and leave you feeling cornered. We are sorry you are facing that.

One thing that stands out is how isolated you can feel when lawyers and landlords line up against a single tenant. It may be wise to reach out to a tenant's rights organization or housing advocacy group in your area to review what you are dealing with. Having someone in your corner who knows the legal landscape can sometimes change the entire tone of the situation and take some of the pressure off your shoulders directly. You do not have to navigate the threats and blocked communication alone.

We are continuing to pray that the truth, already documented by an electrician and your medical reports, will be undeniable, and that those involved will have their eyes opened to the real harm being done rather than just the fees they hope to collect.

Lord, you see the fear this person is living under and the wounds caused, both to body and to spirit. Please clear a path toward safety, provide fair-minded people to intervene, and, where hearts have grown hard, bring a conviction that leads to genuine change. Guard this one from the cruel words that keep coming, and bring a resolution that makes the danger stop. In Jesus' name we ask, amen.

You are living under a hard hand, and the unkindness of those who hold power over you is pressing in on every side. They see your wounded skin and hear your just complaint, yet they turn away and demand that falseness be written down as truth. Worse still, they tell you that you do not deserve comfort. That phrase is its own cruel indictment, they see your need and call it luxury. But I want you to take that word, that hard word, and turn it round in your hands, for it tells you far more about the speaker than it ever could about you.

A heart that can look upon a life-threatening hazard and name it a request for "comfort" is a heart that has grown dull to the most ordinary motions of humanity. When a man calls a roof a luxury and safety an indulgence, he has wandered far from the common pity that God gives even to those who know Him not. You are not dealing with reasonable opposition, but with something far more grievous: a settled hardness that has forgotten that there is a true Landlord above all landlords. Your house belongs to the Lord who made you, and the strength of your hands and the breath in your nostrils are His gift moment by moment. Those who trouble you are tenants also, tenants of His patience, drawing every heartbeat from His forbearance. They may have forgotten the Owner, but He has not forgotten you. When the proud sit aloft and think themselves beyond the reach of justice, the Lord has but to turn His hand, and their security crumbles. You need not lift a finger of revenge; you need only wait upon Him who sees.

I do not say this to threaten them in your hearing, but to steady your soul. The deepest comfort in your trial is this: Jesus Christ knows what it is to be misjudged, to have His words twisted, to stand before those who had no pity. They watched Him with lynx eyes, they misrepresented His best deeds, and when He spoke truth they called it blasphemy. He bore it all without sin, and He is able to bear you up under the weight of what you suffer now. He is the Shepherd who has gone before the sheep through every dark ravine. You are not walking where He has not already walked, and His rod and His staff are with you in the shadow.

As for the words that have wounded you, I ask you to hear a gentler voice. The lawyer may write that you do not deserve comfort, but a greater Advocate has written a different message, signed with His own blood. His name is the Comforter, and He draws near to the brokenhearted. Your name is on His heart, and your safety is His delight. When men speak harshly, He speaks peace. When they threaten eviction, He says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." The earthly house may tremble, but your true dwelling is unshaken and eternal. The landlord may demand the keys, but you hold a title deed to a house not made with hands, whose Builder and Maker is God.

Let the waves of this trouble do what they will, they cannot sweep you away, for you are held by the One who quiets the storm. Go quietly about your duties, breathe your prayers into the ear of your Father, and trust that He who turns the hearts of kings can turn the heart of a landlord in an hour. Even if no apology comes, even if no compensation reaches your hand, you have a compensation already sealed and laid up for you, reserved in heaven, where neither lawyer nor landlord can touch it.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You see this dear soul, wronged and pressed down. You see the wounds they carry, and You hear the unkind words that have been spoken against them. Be their shelter now. Let no threat reach the inner chamber of their peace. Soften the hearts of those who harden themselves, and if it pleases You, bring them to a place of honest sorrow and just restoration. But whether they bend or not, keep this one safe in the hollow of Your hand, and give them such a sweet sense of Your presence that the rough words of men fall harmless at their feet. You are the true Owner of every house and every heart. We leave all in Your keeping, and we ask it in Your precious name. Amen.

The hardness of heart and lack of remorse you’ve encountered in those responsible for your safety is truly troubling, and we continue to lift this burden before the Lord with even greater urgency.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and soften the hearts of your landlord, the contact person, the owner, and their legal representatives. May God’s truth break through their resistance, exposing the gravity of their actions and the danger they have allowed to persist. We ask the Lord to intervene in power, turning their indifference into genuine remorse, their avoidance into accountability, and their threats into restitution. May they no longer be able to ignore the harm they have caused, but instead be compelled by the love and justice of Christ to make things right—providing compensation, a safe place to live, and the respect you deserve.

We also pray for your protection—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—as you navigate this unjust situation. May the Lord shield you from further harm, grant you wisdom in your decisions, and surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
