Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after 1,5 month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over this grave injustice. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and outright deception displayed by those responsible for your safety are not merely legal or ethical failures, they are spiritual rebellions against God’s commandments. The Bible warns us, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness" (Isaiah 5:20). What these individuals are doing, endangering lives, falsifying reports, and refusing accountability, is not just negligence; it is wickedness, and it grieves the heart of God.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, callousness, and deceit operating in this situation. The Lord sees your suffering, and He does not turn a blind eye to injustice. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We declare that their schemes will not stand. The truth of your situation, documented by electricians, medical reports, and your own testimony, will prevail. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17).

We also address the spiritual condition of those involved. Their refusal to repent, their threats, and their twisted justification for evil reveal hearts that are hardened against both man and God. Jesus said, "What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person" (Mark 7:20-23). Their actions are not just business decisions; they are manifestations of sin that require repentance.

We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name by which men and women can be saved (Acts 4:12). Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation and the souls entangled in it. We ask You to:

Break the hardness of their hearts. Soften them as only You can, Lord. "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart" (Jeremiah 24:7). Let conviction fall upon them like a heavy weight, leading them to genuine repentance.

Expose the truth. Uncover every lie, every falsified report, and every attempt to manipulate or silence justice. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17). Let the light of Your truth shine so brightly that their deeds are laid bare before You and before men.

Protect and vindicate Your child. Guard their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Provide for their needs, safe housing, financial provision, and peace of mind. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). Let them see Your justice manifest in this situation, whether through legal means, financial restitution, or the transformation of those who have wronged them.

Bring repentance and restitution. We pray that these individuals would not only apologize but also make right what they have broken. "If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep" (Exodus 22:1). Let them understand that true repentance requires action, not just words.

Deliver them from evil. If there is any demonic influence fueling their hardness of heart, we bind it in the name of Jesus. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). We declare that the power of Christ is greater than any spirit of deception or cruelty at work here.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for you as you navigate this trial. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Seek godly counsel, whether through legal avenues, church leadership, or trusted believers, to ensure you are taking steps that align with God’s will. Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this fight.

Finally, we declare that this situation will not end in defeat but in victory. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who turns the hearts of kings wherever He wills (Proverbs 21:1) is at work here. We trust Him to turn the hearts of these individuals, to bring justice where there has been injustice, and to restore what has been broken. May His name be glorified in the outcome, and may you see His faithfulness in ways that strengthen your faith for years to come.

We stand with you in this battle, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17). Amen.

We hear how exhausting and painful this is, not just the physical danger you endured, but the cold, dismissive response that followed. To have real harm met with faked reports and threats instead of basic human decency cuts deep. The lawyer's words equating safety with "comfort" reveal exactly the kind of hardened heart you've named, and we grieve with you that you've been treated this way.

We live in an age where hardness of heart is common, and you've experienced it firsthand. But hardness isn't the final word. The same Christ who turns hearts of stone to hearts of flesh is at work, often in ways we cannot yet see. Your steady refusal to respond in kind, your continued prayer for these people rather than just against them, is its own quiet witness.

One practical step you can take is to keep documenting everything carefully: the electrician's true report, your medical records, screenshots of the lawyer's communications, and a simple timeline of what happened and when. This isn't just for any future legal need, it helps you stand on solid ground when you're being told a false story about yourself. Having the facts clear can steady your own heart while you wait.

Father, you see what has been done and what continues to be threatened. Shield this person from further harm, and give them steady courage and clear thinking. Work in the hearts of the landlord, the lawyer, and everyone involved, break through what is hard, and bring them to genuine remorse and right action. Provide safe housing and the compensation that is owed. In Jesus' name we pray.

How dreadful a thing is a heart that has grown hard as the nether millstone! The Lord Jesus Himself looked round about on men with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts. To demand what is rightfully a matter of life and safety, to falsify reports, and to hurl threats when a soul has suffered bodily harm, this is the work of a conscience seared as with a hot iron. Yet it is precisely such adamant hearts that the Gospel of grace is able to melt. Pray on; the Holy Spirit knows how to apply the truth so as to make it quick and powerful, driving home the sword that pierces even the stoniest heart.

But take heed lest the poison of bitterness make your own heart hard. It is all too easy for the wounded to become wounders, for the oppressed to take up the oppressor's spirit. Look rather to the heart of Jesus. When He was reviled, He reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. His heart is tender toward the afflicted, and He is near to the brokenhearted. In Him there is a full fountain of hope for hearts that sorrow under injustice.

Plead His promise: "I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." This promise is not for you alone; you may lay hold of it on behalf of those who now walk in stubbornness and avoidance. For nothing wounds and heals like the Cross. When the dying love of a bleeding Savior is set before men, hearts that were stone begin to bleed with remorse. The Lord may yet grant them a heart to know Him, and with that knowledge will come sorrow for sin and restitution for wrongs done.

Commit your cause unto the Lord. The Judge of all the earth will surely do right. He will not wink at oppression, nor shall the cry of the afflicted fall to the ground. In His own time He will bring every secret thing to light and right every crooked path. But the greater compensation would be souls plucked from the fire, turned from darkness to light. So pray, with groanings that cannot be uttered, that these unfeeling persons may be subdued by grace. What shall it profit a man to secure a few pounds if he lose his own soul?

Until that day of deliverance breaks, let your song be in the night. The Lord shall be your defense, and your Redeemer is mighty. The oil of joy shall be given for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Wait on Him; in waiting your strength shall be renewed. And remember, the prayer that storms the throne is not the eloquence of the lips, but the cry of a heart that knows its own need and clings to the faithfulness of a covenant-keeping God. He has heard; He will answer; He will heal.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The suffering you endure at the hands of these hard-hearted people stings deeply, and the wounds upon your skin are a visible testament to their cruelty. It is no small thing to be met with threats and lies when you have only presented the truth of your danger and your pain. Yet in this moment, cling to what is truly happening beneath the surface. God, who alone fashions hearts and knows their secret thoughts, is not fooled by a faked report or a lawyer’s venomous words. He sees the heart of the landlord who equates a life-threatening hazard with mere comfort. He discerns the mind of that lawyer who prefers forced eviction to basic human decency. Where you see only a refusal to apologize or to compensate, God sees a heart swollen with the sickness of self-love, a mind darkened by the love of money.

Do not let your soul be consumed by demanding the justice you rightly deserve, as if God were inattentive. For if we consider the rule of strict justice, we all would have perished instantly from the beginning for our own transgressions. The staggering truth is that while we were yet offending our great Benefactor, He stretched forth His hand, offering not eviction but an inheritance of a kingdom, not a demand for payment but a baptism for the remission of sins. This is the medicine for your own heart now. The greatest danger in this trial is not the faulty wiring that shocked your skin but the spark of resentment that can set your own heart ablaze. When you watch them refuse to submit to God’s call, do not let a root of bitterness spring up and choke your spirit. Their demand for fees while you suffer is indeed a deeply disturbed act, but see it for what it is: a symptom of a soul in mortal peril, one that is treasuring up wrath for itself.

Your prayer must now ascend beyond a mere demand for an apology or a softened heart in the others. Let the focus turn inward. Bruise your own heart, be pricked for any hidden sin, and weep for the ways you yourself might have ignored God’s gentle call in times past. Make room for the Spirit who has been shed abroad in your heart, the one who intercedes with groanings too deep for words. When you can say with the Apostle, “Whether I live or die, I belong to the Lord,” then you have conquered the landlord’s power to harm your soul. Their refusal to offer you a safe place to live cannot evict you from the heart of God. He has promised to write His covenant not on stone tablets but on the fleshy tables of the heart, and He is doing this very work in you through this fiery trial.

So continue to pray, yes, that God might break their hardness and give them a heart of flesh. But pray with your hands open, not clenched. Commend yourself to the One who judges justly. He knows the mind of the Spirit, and He knows your need for safety and for vindication far better than any human report. Your task now is not to force them to feel remorse; that is God’s work alone. Your task is to see that their evil does not overcome your good. Do not let their unscrupulous behaviour teach you to be unscrupulous in return. Do not let their avoidance teach you to flee from the command to love even your enemies. This is the victory that overcomes the world: a faith that trusts God’s ultimate justice more than it seeks immediate compensation, a heart that is so filled with the comfort of the Holy Spirit that the mockery of a wicked lawyer cannot leave a lasting wound. Walk out of that uninhabitable place not just with your physical life preserved by God’s mercy, but with your spiritual heart enlarged, a living example of one who lives by a different law entirely.

I have been grieving with you over what you’ve endured, the life-threatening danger, the fresh wounds on your skin, the medical records that bear witness, and the chilling refusal of every person in authority to show a trace of remorse. In place of an apology, you have been met with lies, threats, and a demand that you simply forfeit safety and basic dignity. That is a heavy weight, but I want you to hear something clearly: the Lord sees. When the poor, the orphaned, and the widowed cried out in Scripture, God rose to plead their cause. He has not changed. He is not silent.

What you are witnessing in these individuals is the terrible reality of hard hearts. Throughout God’s dealings with man, He sets before each of us the way of life and the way of death, and the stubborn refusal to own wrongdoing is a choice for death, even while it promises gain. The landlord, the contact person, the lawyer, they are grasping after position and money, yet they are building an empty life. I have observed that a life lived for self alone, without the consciousness of God, always turns to bitterness and futility, just as Solomon discovered after chasing everything under the sun. Wealth and power without repentance cannot nourish the soul; they leave a hollow ache that nothing on earth can fill. That is the cup these people are choosing, and they do not yet see that their names will not stand in the book of life unless they turn.

Our prayer, then, moves in two directions. We pray that God would put His holy fear upon their hearts, the kind of dread that once stopped enemies far stronger than Jacob from doing harm. We ask the Lord to break through their self-deception by the power of Jesus, who is mightier than any darkness, and whose light cannot coexist with callous evil. The proud imagination of the heart can be scattered in a moment when God rises up. So I join you in crying out that He would humble them, that they would feel the weight of their cruelty, and that they would hear His call to a heart of flesh instead of stone.

At the same time, we keep our own eyes fixed on Christ. He is your source of life, El Shaddai, the all-sufficient God who nourishes and sustains you even when human comfort fails. The injustice you have suffered is real, and the delay in apology and compensation grinds painfully, yet the Lord who vindicates the oppressed will not let the wicked ultimately prosper. The way of the transgressor is hard, and unless they repent, they will learn that lesson through sorrow. But we can pray that they learn it instead by seeing the emptiness of their path and turning to the only One who can fill their bankrupt souls.

May the Lord’s peace guard your heart as you continue to entrust yourself to the righteous Judge. I am praying that the power of God would invade that dark situation, scatter proud schemes, and bring about not only the safety you deserve but also a genuine work of repentance that leads to apology and restitution. You are not forgotten, and your hope is anchored in the risen Christ, who makes all things new.
