Evil& lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after 1,5 month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting your cries to the throne of God with heavy hearts. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and outright deception you’ve encountered are not just unjust, they are evil, and Scripture is clear that such behavior grieves the Holy Spirit. The Lord sees every shock you endured, every wound on your skin, and every sleepless night spent in fear. He is a God of justice, and He does not turn a blind eye to oppression.

The Bible warns us in Proverbs 21:13, "Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he will also cry out, but shall not be heard." These individuals have not only ignored your suffering but have actively sought to cover it up, even demanding payment while your life was in danger. Their actions reveal a heart in rebellion against God’s commands to love our neighbors, show compassion, and act with integrity (Micah 6:8, Romans 13:10). The fact that they would ask electricians to falsify reports is not just unethical, it is an abomination before the Lord, who detests lying lips (Proverbs 12:22).

We rebuke the spirit of greed, callousness, and deception operating in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we declare that their schemes will not prosper. Proverbs 28:13 says, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin, soften their hardened hearts, and lead them to repentance. May they see the weight of what they’ve done and be broken before God, turning from their wickedness to make restitution.

We also pray for your protection, physically, emotionally, and legally. The threats you’re facing are not just intimidation; they are attempts to silence the truth. But God’s Word promises in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment." We declare that every false accusation, every legal threat, and every attempt to evict you unjustly will be exposed and overturned. May the Lord raise up advocates for you, lawyers, officials, or even neighbors, who will stand for justice and ensure that you are not further harmed.

Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Break the hardness of these hearts, Lord. Replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), so they may see the harm they’ve caused and be moved to make it right. We pray they would apologize sincerely, offer fair compensation, and ensure the electrical hazards are permanently fixed, not just for your sake, but for the sake of anyone else who might be endangered. Let their actions be a testimony to Your power to change even the most hardened hearts.

We also lift up the lawyer who dismissed your suffering as mere "discomfort." Her words reveal a heart that has grown cold to human pain, and we pray for her soul. May the Holy Spirit pierce her conscience and lead her to repentance. Let her see the gravity of equating life-threatening danger with inconvenience, and may she be humbled before You.

For you, dear one, we pray for healing, body, mind, and spirit. The trauma of this experience is real, and we ask that God would restore your peace, your trust, and your sense of safety. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." May you feel His nearness in this storm, and may He provide a safe place for you to live, free from fear.

Finally, we declare that this situation will be turned around for your good. Romans 8:28 reminds us that "all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even now, God is working behind the scenes. May He bring justice swiftly, expose every lie, and turn the tables so that those who sought to harm you are held accountable. We trust in His perfect timing and His unfailing justice.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It has now been a month and a half of carrying this, and we hear how exhausting and wounding it is, not only the physical danger you endured, but the ongoing refusal of anyone involved to acknowledge the truth or treat you with basic human dignity. That compounds the hurt in a way that lingers long after the shocks themselves have stopped. We are standing with you in this.

The callousness you describe, especially from a lawyer framing a life‑threatening electrical hazard as mere “comfort,” is the kind of thing that can make a person feel erased. When the ones with power to make things right choose instead to threaten and falsify, it is not weakness on your part to feel the psychological weight of it. It is a normal response to being deeply wronged.

For a concrete next step, we gently encourage you to keep everything in writing and to continue documenting any new communication. If you have not already done so, reaching out to a local tenants’ rights organization or a legal aid clinic could give you a practical advocate who knows how to press back against this kind of stonewalling, without you having to absorb every blow alone. That is not a lack of faith, it is using the resources God places within reach while we pray.

We also know you are praying for their hearts to soften. That is a hard prayer to keep praying, and we join you in it without pretending it is simple. Sometimes God does that deep work in a person, and sometimes the change we experience instead is His steady protection over our own heart, keeping us from being consumed by the wrong done to us.

Let us lift this together now.

Lord Jesus, You see every hidden thing, and You see what has been done here. We ask You to shield this one from further harm and to bring the truth fully to light. Please provide wise, effective help and a way out of this standoff. Where apology and compensation are owed, we ask You to move in ways that bring justice and relief. Hold this hurting heart steady in Your care, and let Your peace stand guard where human cruelty has tried to break in. In Your name, Amen.

It is indeed a heavy trial when you are not only afflicted by bodily danger, but also surrounded by hearts as adamant stone, refusing to feel for your plight. Yet let it not amaze you overmuch, for Scripture warns us plainly that such hardness creeps over men by insensible degrees until they become unfeeling, unyielding, impenetrable. The lower millstone was chosen for its peculiar hardness, and so the unregenerate heart, left to itself, grows harder still by practice and by association with sin. When men demand that electricians falsify reports, when they equate life-threatening danger with mere comfort, and when they threaten legal action rather than offer apology, surely we see the plague of the heart in its most miserable form. Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, false witness, and all manner of cruelty, as our Lord Himself declared.

But, oh, let us not despair, for the covenant speaks expressly to such a case: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” This is not a small thing, to make a heart living, warm, sensitive, and tender, but it is the very specialty of Divine Grace. No unregenerate man possesses this heart of flesh; it is a gift of Sovereign Grace, always the result of Divine power. He who made the rock in the wilderness gush forth with rivers of repentance can speak to these hearts of stone and turn them. The same Lord who was meek and lowly in heart, whose own heart was pierced with the spear, can fill the empty space with the most gentle and sensitive affections. His pierced heart sympathizes far more quickly than the most tender heart that ever lived, there, at the cross, hearts of stone have been turned to flesh when the Holy Spirit causes men to know this truth. A sacred tenderness steals over the obstinate when they hear of Jesus crucified for them.

Therefore, pray mightily for these souls, for the Lord says, “I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them.” Ask that He would give them a heart to know Him, that He would break this hardness, and that they might hear His call and submit to Him. Much tenderness is needed, for in proportion as the heart is stony it is destitute of affection, and sin becomes to the fleshy heart as smoke to the eyes, as thorns to the flesh, as gall to the palate. But God’s love shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit alone can accomplish this. And as for yourself, cast your burden upon Him who judges righteously. It is no small comfort to remember that the love of God to you is a love that searched you out even when you were dead in trespasses and sins, a heart full of evil thoughts, yet He loved you. The heart of the gospel is the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ; and when the heart is wounded, nothing heals its wounds like the balm which flows from His pierced side. Wait patiently, forgive even as you have been forgiven, and let your own heart be kept tender before the Lord. He who sees in secret will vindicate; He will not leave you comfortless. The Sovereign Grace of God may yet step in, and in the mighty majesty of His love speak to these hearts of stone. Pray on.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a dreadful report of human hardness. When the electric shock leaves its wound upon your very flesh, and medical reports testify to the truth, and still they demand not safety but a falsified report, you are dealing with souls that are, for the moment, incurably diseased and past feeling. The words of their lawyer, equating the avoidance of a life-threatening hazard with mere "comfort," reveal a mind deeply disturbed, treasuring up wrath against the day of wrath. Do not be surprised at this lack of remorse, for there is a counterfeit grief that is no repentance at all, as Esau sought the blessing with tears but found no place for true change, because his heart still intended murder. These actions are not hidden from the Judge of all the earth. If there is such a regard for justice in the petty courts of a house or a marketplace, do you think God, whose right hand is full of righteousness, makes no account of it? They are not escaping His notice; they are heaping up a dreadful store for themselves.

Yet you ask for them to show remorse, apologise, and make compensation. This is a right prayer, and I will not tell you to cease praying it; for repentance has great force, and it has power to set free even the one who has come unto the very depth of wickedness. But understand what you are truly asking. You are asking for a miracle of grace that shatters a heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh. It is a prayer for God to drag them from the brink of the pit they are blindly digging. Do not let your own heart be straitened with bitterness while you wait. I say this not to condemn you, but because the fire of their injustice could spread to consume your own peace with the Lord. The command of our Master mingles mercy with justice, teaching us even while we suffer to show forth great consideration. This does not mean you cease seeking the safety and restitution that strict justice demands; an uninhabitable dwelling is a matter for every human court of conscience. But it means your ultimate hope is not set upon their apology, which may never come from lips still so hardened.

Therefore, continue to show your wounds to the righteous Judge. By all means, let the report of the honest electrician stand against their fraud. But commit the matter finally to God, for it is He who sees, and their failure to repent is their own greatest danger, far greater than the electric shock was to you. You have now a baptism of remission and deliverance, an inheritance of a kingdom, and the Spirit shed abroad in your heart. They, however, are shutting themselves out from this. Pray, then, with great boldness that God would break their hardness, not for your vindication alone, but for the saving of their souls from a punishment that is unbearable. For if a man is neither softened by goodness nor turned back by fear, what can be harder? May the Holy Spirit so travail over them that Christ might yet be formed in their hearts.

It is deeply painful to be met with such callous indifference, especially when your very life has been threatened and your body wounded. The refusal to acknowledge wrong, the lies, and the threats are the fruit of hearts that have grown hard, hard toward both God and man. Scripture tells us that God sees this clearly. He knows how to scatter the proud in the imagination of their hearts and to put down the mighty from their seats. The one who exalts himself as your landlord and his representatives have done will be humbled. Their actions, including that lawyer’s cruel equating of basic safety with mere “comfort,” reveal a deeply disturbed heart, and God is not mocked. Those words and threats are not hidden from Him.

Jesus once spoke a parable about a persistent widow and an unjust judge, a man who neither feared God nor regarded man. Because of her continual coming, he finally granted her justice, simply to be rid of her. The Lord used that contrast to assure us: “Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry unto him day and night, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.” Keep bringing this before the throne of grace. Your cries are not going unheard. The delay is not denial. The Lord bears long, but His justice will come.

When the righteous Simeon held the infant Jesus, he told Mary that her child was set for the fall and rising of many, and that a sword would pierce her own soul, so that the thoughts of many hearts might be revealed. This trial has served such a purpose: the hidden callousness of these people has been brought into the light. You have seen their true character. While that revelation causes you suffering now, those exposed hearts are being dealt with by God. Pray that this exposure leads them to conviction, not further hardening. It is a frightening thing to remain stiff and unyielding under the gaze of the One who sees all.

You ask that God give them a heart of flesh and break their hardness. That is exactly the work He delights to do. The gospel promises real, drastic change, even for those entrenched in a lifetime of selfishness and oppression. Nothing is too difficult for Him. The hand of the Lord can turn hearts. He can take the stony, thorny ground and make it soft soil. The rich young ruler went away sorrowful because his possessions had a tight grip on his heart; it is a dangerous thing when wealth and power possess a person. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work mightily in these people, showing them the emptiness of their gain and the terror of standing against God’s elect. May they hear His call and submit to Him before it is too late.

While you wait, guard your own heart against the poison of bitterness. It is easy to fall into a critical mode where you begin looking for fault everywhere and fixate on their evil. I understand how hard that struggle is. But the peace of God is available to keep and establish your heart even in this injustice. That peace does not depend on their apology or compensation; it comes from knowing that your life is hidden with Christ and that the Spirit rules over the flesh. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly during these days. It gives real depth and power against the temptation to despair or seek revenge.

The physical circumstances, safety, restitution, a just resolution, matter deeply to God. He took on flesh and knows our frame. But the spiritual work is paramount. I am praying that these people will not be able to dismiss what they have done, that the sword of conviction will pierce the calluses around their souls. May they come to remorse, make a full apology, and offer proper compensation, not merely to satisfy a legal debt, but because their hearts are turned toward righteousness. Keep entrusting yourself to the One who judges justly. He will avenge. He will sustain you. And may the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings for you in this very moment, whatever the next legal or personal challenge brings.
