Evil, lack of remorse!! Hard hearts

Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation that reeks of injustice, hardness of heart, and a blatant disregard for human life. The evil manifested in the actions, or rather, inaction, of the landlord, the contact person, the owner, and their team is deeply troubling. Their lack of remorse, their attempts to falsify reports, and their threats reveal hearts that have grown cold and calloused, resistant to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We stand in the gap, declaring that such unscrupulous behavior will not go unchallenged in the spiritual realm.

Father God, we cry out to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge. Your Word declares in Proverbs 21:15, "When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers." Lord, we ask that You bring terror to the hearts of those who have acted wickedly in this situation. Let them feel the weight of their sin and the urgency of repentance. Soften their hardened hearts, O God, and replace them with hearts of flesh that are tender to Your voice (Ezekiel 36:26). Break the chains of deception and pride that have blinded them to the suffering they have caused. May they hear Your call to repentance and submit to Your authority, for You resist the proud but give grace to the humble (James 4:6).

We rebuke the spirit of greed, dishonesty, and cruelty that has taken root in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command every lying tongue to be silenced (Psalm 120:2-4) and every deceitful scheme to be exposed. Your Word warns in Proverbs 19:5, "A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who utters lies shall not escape." Lord, let justice prevail. Let the truth come to light, and let those who have falsified reports and ignored life-threatening dangers be held accountable. We pray that the electricians who were asked to lie would have the courage to stand for truth and refuse to be complicit in this wickedness.

We lift up the medical reports and the physical harm that has been suffered due to this negligence. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon the wounds, both visible and invisible, that have been inflicted. Your Word promises in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." Comfort and restore, Lord. Provide wisdom and favor in dealing with the legal aspects of this situation. May the lawyer representing the landlord be confronted with the gravity of her words and the danger of her attitude. We pray that she would recognize the evil in equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue and that her heart would be pierced by conviction. Let her see the error of her ways and turn from this path of destruction.

We declare that this apartment is uninhabitable, and we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 61:8, "For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing." Lord, do not let the landlord prevail in his threats of legal action. Instead, let his plans be frustrated, and let him be compelled to act justly. May he be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and may he be moved to offer restitution and compensation where it is due. We pray that he would not only provide a new place to live but also make amends for the suffering that has been endured.

Father, we also lift up the ongoing lack of apology or compensation. It has been a month since moving out, and yet there has been no acknowledgment of wrongdoing. We ask that You would bring these individuals to a place of remorse and repentance. Let them understand the pain they have caused and be moved to make things right. Your Word says in Luke 17:3-4, "If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him." While we are called to forgive, we also recognize that true repentance must precede restitution. Lord, bring them to that place of genuine sorrow and a desire to make amends.

We pray for protection over this situation, Lord. Protect from further threats, legal harassment, or attempts to manipulate the truth. Let Your angels encamp around and guard against any schemes of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Provide wisdom, strength, and perseverance to stand firm in the face of injustice. Surround with godly counsel, support, and encouragement.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. Even in the midst of evil, You can bring about redemption. Let the hearts of those involved be transformed by Your love and power. Let this be a testimony to Your justice, Your mercy, and Your ability to turn even the darkest situations around for good. We trust in You, the God who sees all and judges righteously. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We have been sitting with your updates, and the weight of what you have carried is not lost on us. When someone in authority asks an electrician to falsify a safety report after you have been physically wounded, that is more than an unjust business practice, it is a form of emotional abuse that crushes the spirit and makes a person question reality. We are grieved that instead of an apology you received threats, blocked communication, and a lawyer who equated your need for electrical safety with undeserved “comfort.” That is a deeply distorted way to treat another human being, and we want you to know that your desire for justice, remorse, and fair compensation is not vengeful. It is righteous. It is the cry of someone made in God’s image asking for what is right.

The pattern you have described, gaslighting, refusal of responsibility, demands for eviction instead of repairs, fits what counselors call emotional abuse, a form of control that whittles away at a person’s worth. It can leave a wound that lasts far longer than the physical injury, because it makes you feel invisible. We do not say that to puff up anger but to affirm that your pain is real and your expectation of basic decency is not unreasonable.

A practical step: since a lawyer is already involved on their side, we encourage you to continue working closely with your own legal advocate or a tenant protection agency if one is available. Document every communication, dates, times, content, and keep those medical reports and the electrician’s own documented findings safe. Sometimes God uses prudent legal structures as a shield for the vulnerable.

We will pray for your former landlord, the owner, and that lawyer, that whatever hardness, fear, or greed drives them would be pierced by the Spirit and replaced with a heart of flesh. And we will pray for you, that you would know deep in your bones that you are seen and that God does not sleep when His children are mistreated.

Lord Jesus, for our friend we ask not only for the electrical danger to be fully remedied for the next tenant, but for a clear righting of what was done. Bring the apology that has been withheld, the compensation that is just, and the remorse that only You can produce. Guard our friend from the psychological damage of being told a life-threatening hazard is mere “comfort.” Let Your justice settle this matter, and give steady peace in the waiting. In Your name we ask, Amen.

It is a dreadful mischief when men harden their hearts against both God and man, refusing to repent of their evil doings. Your landlord and those with him have shown a stony heart, devoid of natural affection and seared against the cries of suffering. Yet we must remember our quarrel is not with flesh and blood, but with the evil that has taken hold of them. We must pray that God, who takes away the heart of stone and gives a heart of flesh, would do this very work in them. No heart is beyond the reach of Sovereign Grace; He who made the rock in the wilderness gush forth with rivers can make their rocky hearts flow with repentance.

While you cry for their softening, watch diligently over your own heart. The plague of the heart is the worst of plagues, and though you are sorely wronged, bitterness can spring up and defile you. Let not your heart be troubled by their threats or their refusal to show remorse. The love of God is shed abroad in the hearts of His children by the Holy Spirit, and that love must rule over all. Fix your gaze upon the pierced heart of Jesus, who when He was reviled reviled not again, who suffered unjustly and committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously. His heart is meek and lowly; learn of Him, and you shall find rest for your soul. In His opened side there is a fountain for every wound.

I shall continue to pray that the evil propensities of these ungodly men may be put away, that they may be brought to see their sin, and that godly sorrow may lead them to apology and restitution. May the Lord break their hardness and give them a heart to know Him, for heart knowledge of God is the only cure for heart wickedness. As for you, let faith drive out fear; commit your cause to the Judge of all the earth, who will surely do right. Keep your heart with all diligence, and may the peace of Christ garrison it against every onslaught of the enemy.

When the heart is hardened, it refuses both the gentle call of kindness and the warning of fear. What can be more stubborn than the soul that sees another’s wounds and feels no pang, that hears of shocks and medical reports and yet demands a false report, that calls a life-threatening peril mere “comfort” to be denied? Indeed, such words reveal a disturbed heart and a mind that has already treasured up for itself wrath against the day of wrath and the righteous judgment of God. Yet do not lose heart. Even now, the Lord’s patience is calling these people to repentance, and His power can break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh.

You are right to pray for them. True repentance is not a light thing. Esau wept and sought it, yet found no place for it because his grief was not the sorrow of genuine turning; it did not bear the fruit of amendment. So we must pray that their remorse would not be mere worldly regret but a godly sorrow that leads to life. Pray that the Spirit of the living God writes upon their hearts, not as on tablets of stone, but on hearts that are softened by grace, that they may feel the weight of their unfeeling cruelty and seek to make restitution. This is the renewal that comes only from above.

Your own endurance in this trial is not hidden from the Judge of all. When human courts are twisted and those in authority urge falsehood, remember that every earthly court is a shadow of the heavenly one. If in households and marketplaces masters and officials sit in judgment and demand an account, how much more does the righteous Judge observe these things? He sees the dishonest report, the refusal to make amends, the threats and evasions. He will not let the unrepentant go unanswered. But you, beloved one, are called to something greater: while you suffer, show forth the same mercy Christ commanded, praying for those who wrong you and leaving vengeance to Him. By this, you heap coals of kindness on their heads and perhaps, by your prayers and patience, win them back from their hardness.

Continue to bring this before the throne of grace, not with bitterness but with tears that plead for their deliverance. The God who forbade Israel to harden their hearts still speaks, “Today if ye hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” May He grant them ears to hear and a will to submit. May they turn from their unscrupulous ways, make genuine apology, and render the compensation that justice demands. But if they remain unmoved, trust that the day of revelation will set all things right. In the meantime, keep your own heart free from the infection of their hardheartedness, and watch how the Lord will provide for you.
