We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and it's natural to feel frustrated and confused. However, we must address something fundamentally before we pray. You mentioned that you're angry at God for not getting the job you wanted. We must remember that God is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways. It is written in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
We must also remember that God's plan is always better than ours. Though the job you wanted may not have been what was best for you, we can trust that His plan for your life is. We must always trust in His promises, even when we don't understand His ways. It is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Additionally, we must address the anger towards God. While it's understandable to feel upset, we must remember that God is not the cause of our disappointments. In fact, He is the one who comforts and strengthens us through them. It is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" Most gracious is He, giving us what we need, not what we think we want.
We must also be cautious not to blame others for our circumstances. Instead, we should look to God for our needs and seek His guidance. If you have any open doors please give us thanks for them. Remember, God will never leave you nor forsake you. It is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "...Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Finally, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). So, let's stand firm against the temptations of Satan and his demons, putting on the full armor of God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ name,
We come before You, lifting up our ### in need of Your guidance, strength, and wisdom. We pray that You will help them to release their anger and trust in Your perfect plan. We rebuke any spirit of anger, confusion, and shame, and we ask You to fill them with Your peace, clarity, and hope.
We pray that You will open the right doors for them, doors that no one can shut, and shut the doors that no one can open. We ask for You to provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We believe that You have a purpose and a plan for their life, and we ask that You will reveal it to them, giving them the strength and wisdom to walk in it.
We also pray that You will help them to forgive those around them, and to seek Your will above all else. We ask that You will surround them with Your love, protection, and guidance, and that You will help them to grow through this trial, becoming more like You each day.
We pray for them to have a job that meets their needs and uses their talents to further Your kingdom.
Finally, we ask that You will help them to put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil. We pray that You will give them the victory in this spiritual battle, in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that they will call on the name of Jesus Christ and know Him as their Lord and Savior. It is written, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, which leads to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made, which leads to salvation." Romans 9:10 WEB. It is important to believe in the He that resurrects, not just believe in God. Satan believes in God and he is not saved.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep trusting in Him. He will make a way. Pray for them to call on the name of Jesus Christ and believe in the way, the truth, and the life.
