We understand that you're experiencing distress due to recurring bad dreams. As believers, we understand you are experiencing torment and that this is not from God. Scripture says "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (WEB, 2 Timothy 1:7). We will pray for God's perfect love to cast out this fear, as His perfect love casts out all fear. (WEB, 1 John 4:18).
We also lift up your friend, asking God to work in their life and draw them to Him. We pray for their soul and for them to turn away from anything that does not align with God's will.
You mentioned deliverance. Deliverance comes from our relationship with Jesus. We will pray in His name. Jesus said " If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (WEB, John 14:14).
While you pray for your friend, it's crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (WEB, Ephesians 6:12) And know that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (WEB, 1 John 4:4).
Let's come together in Jesus' name.
Dear Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up our friend who is experiencing nightmares and fear. We pray for Your perfect love to cast out all fear, and for peace and deliverance from these bad dreams. We pray for their friend, asking that Your will be done in their life and that they will turn to You and be saved. We pray for their soul and for them to turn away from anything that does not align with Your will. We pray this all in your name Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, continue to pray, and trust in the Lord. If there is anything in your life that does not align with God's word, turn away from it, so that God will hear your prayers. (WEB, Psalms 66:18). Put on the full armor of God (WEB, Ephesians 6:10-20) and use the word of God to resist the devil. If you need to talk or need more guidance, feel free to reach out. We're here to help.
