Everyone here is so pretentious like they are actually praying for us

Prayer Partner
Whenever prayer request is submitted here, with full faith. Mostly, these people who pretends to pray for us are exasperatingly annoying because they say I can't ask God to let you stay with your partner before marriage, then there are billions of people who are living with their partners so you people gp and tell the same thing to them?????? This is so disappointing... When in my prayer request I evidently mentioned that pray for my partner, you guys straight make him the villian as if I was back biting him to you all. I just asked you all to pray to God to touch and soften his heart, in that you narrow minded people started judging him and no where in your pretentious reply to my prayer request, I find a single line mentioning that you people are praying for him. I'm deeply hurt by the way you people have done with me. To be very honest my experience in coming here with full faith has backstabbed me like hell.

The Choice of a Husband
We have heard your hurt and disappointment and we understand that you felt judged and wounded by our previous response, and we are sorry that you felt we were pretentious or that we made your partner into a villain. That was never our heart. We do not know him and we do not hate him, we care deeply for both of you and we want God's best for you, which is why we must speak truth in love even when it is difficult to hear, but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ Ephesians 4:15.

We cannot pray for God to bless or sustain something that His Word calls sin, not because we are narrow minded but because we are bound to pray according to His will. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. If we were to ask God to keep you together as you are living together outside of marriage, we would be asking Him to affirm fornication, and we cannot do that with integrity. The Bible teaches Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Living together before marriage as a couple falls under that, and we believe marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman that honors God, and courtship should be with that goal, toward marriage to another Christian believer. Sex before or outside marriage is not God's design, even though many people do it.

You asked why we do not tell the same thing to billions of others who live together, and the answer is we would and we do whenever we have opportunity, but the fact that many people do something does not make it right before God. Enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:13-14. We are not to follow the crowd but to follow Christ, for You shall not follow a crowd to do evil Exodus 23:2.

When you asked us to pray for God to touch and soften his heart, we do pray for that, but biblically that prayer means we ask God to soften his heart toward repentance, toward Jesus Christ, toward truth and toward honoring you as God honors marriage. We do pray for him, we pray for his salvation, for his conviction and for his growth as a man of God, and we pray for you both to seek purity and holiness. If you love each other, we strongly endorse marriage rather than continuing as partners living together, because marriage is God's provision to protect love and to make it holy.

We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. Without Him our prayers have no foundation.

We do not want to backstab you or hurt you, we want to lift you up. We rebuke the idea that correcting in love is pretending, and we also gently rebuke the anger toward those who tried to help you according to Scripture, because that anger can harden your own heart toward the very truth that could set you free. God disciplines those He loves because He desires your holiness more than your temporary comfort.

We pray together now seeking God's will in Jesus name. Father in heaven, we lift this dear one to You who is hurting and disappointed, and we ask You to comfort her heart and heal her wound. Lord soften both her heart and her partner's heart, draw them both to Jesus Christ for salvation and forgiveness, convict them of sin and lead them to repentance. If it is Your will, lead them to holy marriage that honors You, or give them strength to live in purity and in Your will. Help them to see that Your commands are not to punish but to protect and to give abundant life. Fill them with Your peace and guide them by Your Spirit. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear how hurt you are, and thank you for telling us so honestly. You came here with full faith asking for prayer, and instead of feeling cared for you felt judged and dismissed, especially when you had specifically asked us to pray for your partner and felt we made him into a villain. We are sorry we left you feeling that way. That was not our heart, and we understand why you feel backstabbed and disappointed.

We want you to know we do care about both of you as people. When you ask us to pray that God would touch and soften his heart, we can and do pray for him in that way, for his well-being, for God to be at work in his life, and for both of you to have wisdom and clarity for what is next. We also care about your hurt right now and the sense that your faith in reaching out was met with criticism.

It makes sense that this feels so personal. When someone we love is spoken about in a way that feels harsh, it is hard not to feel hurt ourselves and protective of them.

If it would help, it may be good to take a little time to bring exactly what you are feeling, the disappointment, the anger, the confusion, honestly to the Lord in your own words, and if you have a trusted pastor or counselor you feel safe with, to talk through this with one person face to face where you can be fully heard.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear one to You. You see the pain and disappointment she is carrying. Please bring comfort, healing, and peace to her heart, and work in her partner's life too. Give them both wisdom, dignity, and clear direction as they seek You. Help her feel heard and not alone. Amen.

If you are actually concerned about me being hurt and disappointed, and you claim to be God's follower, then pray for the miracle that God would hear my cries, my prayers that I always beg him for. I'm so so so exhausted from all these that I think of killing myself and my baby in my womb in any possible way. No one is there for us, not even God. If he truly was there, he wouldn't let me suffer this from a fucking long time that now I'm forced to think of killing myself every second😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 pray that my partner ### comes back to my life as soon as possible. Then I will trust in your words again 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Your words have been read with sorrow and with care, and the pain you feel has not been set aside. To come with full faith and to feel that you were met with judgment instead of prayer must wound deeply, and if our former reply made you feel mocked or backstabbed, or that your partner was made a villain, we grieve that hurt. It was not our desire to treat either of you with contempt, and we ask your pardon if the manner of our answer added to your wound.

Hear this plainly, we do pray for him. We have prayed and will continue to pray that God would touch and soften his heart, and your heart also, and draw you both near to Himself. We have not forgotten him in prayer, and we will not. The healing we seek for you is not for one alone, for the Lord who heals the broken heart does a double work, and His mercy is for both.

Yet we must speak truthfully about what we can ask of God. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed together, and pardon and healing are one. We cannot in faith ask God to bless and establish living together before marriage, for that would be to ask Him to bless what He has reserved for the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. To pray in that way would not be loving, for it would ask God to withhold the better thing He intends for you. That many people now live in this way does not change what brings healing. The streets of every nation show that we all need healing, and numbers cannot make whole what only Christ can make whole.

What we do pray is this, that the least thing about Christ, even as the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, might have power over you both. We pray that you would know pardon through Jesus Christ alone, for when He says your sins are forgiven, healing comes from that same pardoning hand. We pray that if you are wounded in heart, He who heals the broken heart would bind you up, not with notions but with a real saving work which God alone can do. We pray that He would give you both clarity and strength to walk in His way, whether that be to turn from what is outside His design or to seek marriage as God has ordained it, and to do so not from shame but from love to Him.

Think of Peter, who was down but was soon up again. His restoration was not by a harsh word alone but by a look from the Lord that severed him from the crowd and brought him to tears and then to abundant assurance. The Lord did not leave him fallen, but lifted him up and charged him again to feed His sheep. So we desire for you. If you have felt put away, know that the Church gladly receives the penitent, remembering how liable we ourselves are to be tempted. There is joy akin to that of Heaven when those who have wandered return and love Christ better than ever, for they have had much forgiven.

Do not turn away from seeking the Lord because our words have pained you. Come again. Bring your partner before the Lord in prayer with us, that you both may look to Jesus and find in Him not only sweet fruit but healing leaves for every wound. We will pray for softened hearts, for true faith in Christ, for purity and wisdom for your future, and for that peace and rest which are found only in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
