I often wondered why in the world would God let us go through trials if he loves us. To me, being happy means never having another difficulty or tear come from my eye ever. It was explained to me that God handles us very similarly to the way that mother eagles handle their babies. When a mother eagle wants her babies to fly, she shakes the nest and they fall out. They are scared but she flies under them . If they do not succeed in flying she comes up under them and catches them on her back. God sees what we are going through. At times he keeps at a watchful distance, but he will come and pick us up if we fall.
I admit the topic for the blog was not my idea. Aaron Scibetta gave this talk at a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. I thought it was a great idea so I am paraphrasing it.
