Father, thank You for freely granting repentance from 2 long-term besetting sins last summer at the Evangelism Training and for recommissioning me in evangelism, study and exhortation -- surely even if we are barely even baring any fruit, You prune us that we may be more fruitful, Jn 15:2... Thank You for not breaking off bruised reeds or snuffing out dimly burning wicks, May this update bless each and every reader, 1 Jn 1:3, and may you give them everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Pet 1:3, every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ, Eph 1:3, GRACE upon GRACE from the FULLNESS of Christ, Jn 1:16, even to know the riches of the glory of the inheritance of Christ, Eph 1:18, thank You in Jesus Name, AMEN, 2 Cor 1:20…

UPDATE: Just wanted to thank you for praying... 1) I've been able to give my "housie" who "point-blank" heard the gospel a couple weeks back a few rides to work, listen to his struggles, share The Word with and audibly PRAY for him... He's in spiritual battle, Eph 6:10-20... Father, we thank You Phil 1:6 is true, and thank you all for Eph 6:18, as we ask God deliver him from temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one... Give angels charge over him, Ps 91:11-12. Thank You in Jesus' Name...

2) PTL, I got a text right before had the small outing couple days ago and we were enabled to share freely (personally shared with about a dozen -- sorry tbh I am fairly vocal so people walking by heard John 3:16 and Acts 3:19, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4)... I have the gospel in rap form which God has used and still uses to open a lot of doors, but must admit I have a choppy Spanish gospel presentation... I ask for grace to study Spanish, listen to and understand Spanish Evangelistic sermons and understand Spanish in general -- was able to strengthen the others in general, encourage, and helped them be more confident in sharing... Please ask GOD waters the seeds, 1 Cor 3:6…

Mostly need God's LOVE (so as to not be lonely, Song 1:13), Grace on the team, open doors, faith and hope... WISDOM, Big Time Wisdom regarding my wife, her salvation and our child's protection, ability to meet pressing needs and that God continues to support me and gives grace and wisdom for a shoulder operation, gym & physical rehab of the shoulder (needs re-attachment), healthy partial fasting, drink water, sleep well -- but MOSTLY for his Presence in prayer, praise, worship, study of Word -- and in MEETING PRESSING NEEDS... (PTL, accomplished the needed financial acrobatics, still need to schedule lab work, tied up some loose ends w/ vehicles in Asia, still needs prayer for that, sent keys, grace to open mail, need membership to gym, go there, etc)...

Continued healing of MIND Isa 1:5-6, HEART Jer 4:19, and SOUL Ps 23:3-4… GRACE to serve God in my spirit in preaching the Gospel of his Son, Rom 1:9, thankful for my prayer and ask for blessing on financial partners and wisdom for setting up a not-for-profit ministry somehow -- protection from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, do no wrong, 2 Cor 13:7, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, evil people, imposters and deceivers, 2 Tim 3:13, deception, Matt 24:4, EVERY man's battle (sexual immorality), 1 Thes 4:3-4, 5-6, 7-8 -- let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall, 1 Cor 10:12 -- and last but not least, the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. We rejoice with you in the freedom and recommissioning the Lord has granted you in evangelism, study, and exhortation! Your gratitude for His pruning work in John 15:2 and His tender care for the bruised reed and dimly burning wick is a beautiful testimony of His faithfulness. We stand with you in prayer, lifting every aspect of your update before the throne of grace.

For your housemate, we declare that the God who began a good work in him will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). We pray for his deliverance from spiritual warfare, that he would put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) and stand firm against the schemes of the devil. May the Lord rebuke every lying spirit and open his eyes to the truth of the gospel. We ask that angels be dispatched to guard and minister to him (Psalm 91:11-12), and that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Father, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself, soften his heart, and grant him repentance leading to life (Acts 11:18). Strengthen him to resist temptation and flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

We praise God for the opportunities you had to share the gospel with about a dozen souls! The seeds sown in John 3:16, Acts 3:19, 2 Peter 3:9, and 1 Timothy 2:4 will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). We pray that the Lord of the harvest would send laborers into His harvest (Matthew 9:38) and that He would water the seeds planted (1 Corinthians 3:6). Grant you boldness and clarity as you share, and open doors for the gospel to spread like wildfire. Father, we ask that You would raise up more workers, especially among Spanish-speaking communities, and grant you the grace to study and understand the language so that You may reach even more souls for Christ.

Your longing for God’s love and presence is a sweet aroma to Him. We pray that you would experience the fullness of His love, which casts out all loneliness (Song of Solomon 1:13, Ephesians 3:17-19). May His grace abound in your life, and may you be filled with all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). We lift up your pressing needs before the Lord, trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in scheduling your lab work, resolving the vehicle situation in Asia, and providing membership to the gym for your physical rehab. Grant you grace to open your mail and attend to every detail with peace and order.

We pray for your upcoming shoulder operation, that the Lord would guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team. Grant you a smooth procedure, quick recovery, and strength for the rehab process. May Your healing touch restore your body, mind, and soul (Isaiah 1:5-6, Jeremiah 4:19, Psalm 23:3-4). Father, we ask that You would guard your heart and mind from anxiety, and fill you with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

Your heart for your wife’s salvation and your child’s protection is precious to the Lord. We pray that the eyes of her heart would be enlightened, that she may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance (Ephesians 1:18). Father, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, break every chain of unbelief, and surround her with godly influences. Protect your child from every evil influence and grant them a heart that seeks after You from their youth (Proverbs 22:6). Give you wisdom in every decision regarding your marriage and family, that you may lead with love, patience, and godly wisdom (James 1:5).

We stand with you against every temptation, sin, and deception. The battle against sexual immorality is fierce, but the Lord is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that you would flee from every form of sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8) and that the Lord would strengthen you to stand firm in purity. Father, we ask that You would deliver you from every evil person, deceiver, and imposter (2 Thessalonians 3:2, 2 Timothy 3:13), and that You would guard your heart from deception (Matthew 24:4). We rebuke the evil one in the name of Jesus and ask that You would protect your mind, heart, and soul from his schemes (Matthew 6:13, John 17:15).

For your desire to establish a not-for-profit ministry, we pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom, favor, and divine connections. May He open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide every resource needed to advance His kingdom. We pray for your financial partners, that the Lord would bless them abundantly and multiply their resources for His glory. Father, we ask that You would establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17) and use you mightily for the sake of the gospel.

We pray that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in His power and anointing as you preach the gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:9). May your spirit be refreshed, your mind renewed, and your soul restored as you spend time in His presence. Father, we ask that You would continue to use you as a vessel for His glory, that many would come to know Christ through your obedience.

May the Lord bless you abundantly, keep you in perfect peace, and cause His face to shine upon you. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

It’s so encouraging to hear about the conversations you’ve been having with your housemate, what a beautiful opportunity to share the gospel with someone who’s really wrestling with it. We’re praying that God would continue to soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. It sounds like there’s a real spiritual battle going on, but we know God is mightier than any force we face.

We also want to lift up your own heart as you pour into others. It’s clear you’re carrying a lot, your shoulder, your family, your outreach, even the details of daily life, and we’re asking God to meet you in every single one. His grace is more than enough for every need. Please don’t forget to rest when you can; you’re not meant to do it all alone.

Guard his mind and heart from doubt or discouragement, and fill him with fresh faith and courage to walk in obedience. May Your Spirit lead him into all truth and use him mightily for Your glory.
