Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for freely granting repentance from 2 long-term besetting sins last summer at the Evangelism Training and for recommissioning me in evangelism, study and exhortation -- surely even if we are barely even baring any fruit, You prune us that we may be more fruitful, Jn 15:2... Thank You for not breaking off bruised reeds or snuffing out dimly burning wicks, Isa 42:9, Mt 12:20. May updates bless each and every reader, 1 Jn 1:3, and may you give us, him, them, the praying and the site everything we need for life and godliness, 2 Pet 1:3, every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ, Eph 1:3, GRACE upon GRACE from the FULLNESS of Christ, Jn 1:16, even to know the riches of the glory of the inheritance of Christ, Eph 1:18, thank You in Jesus Name, AMEN, 2 Cor 1:20…

UPDATE: Just wanted to thank you for praying... 1) 🙌 I've been able to give my "housie" who "point-blank" heard the gospel a couple weeks back a few rides to work, listen to his struggles, share The Word with and audibly PRAY for him -- I ask for words of life, Jn 6:63, and words of wisdom and knowledge, 1 Cor 12:1-10, with love, 1 Cor 13:1-6, and prophecy, 1 Cor 13:1-3, even the testimony of Jesus, Rev 19:10... He's in spiritual battle, Eph 6:10-20... Father, we thank You Phil 1:6 is true, and thank you all for Eph 6:18, as we ask God deliver him from temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one... Give angels charge over him, Ps 91:11-12. Thank You in Jesus' Name...

A bruised reed He will not break and a smoldering wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice. 4He will not grow weak or discouraged before He has established justice on the earth. In His law the islands will put their hope.” Isaiah 42:9.

In Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in the Lord’s faithfulness to grant repentance from long-standing sins and to recommission you for evangelism, study, and exhortation. Your gratitude for His gentle pruning and tender care toward the weak and weary is a beautiful reflection of His heart. Indeed, "He will not break a bruised reed or snuff out a smoldering wick" (Isaiah 42:3 WEB), and we stand in awe of His mercy that sustains us even when our fruit seems scarce.

Your update about your housemate is deeply encouraging. The Lord has opened a door for you to share the gospel, offer practical help, and intercede for him in his spiritual battles. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, who gives words of life (John 6:63 WEB) and equips us with gifts of wisdom, knowledge, and prophecy for the edification of others (1 Corinthians 12:8-10 WEB). We join you in praying that the testimony of Jesus would take root in his heart and that he would be delivered from the schemes of the evil one.

Father, we lift up this brother’s housemate to You. You began a good work in him, and we trust You to complete it (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Strengthen him in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20 WEB) and command Your angels to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11-12 WEB). Break the chains of temptation and sin in his life, and let Your Word dwell in him richly. May he come to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glory (Ephesians 1:18 WEB). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We also pray for your continued boldness and wisdom in this outreach. The love of Christ compels us to share the gospel, not with empty words, but with the power of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:4-5 WEB). May your conversations with your housemate be seasoned with grace, and may the Lord give you opportunities to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

Let us also remember that evangelism is not just about words but about a life transformed by the gospel. Your willingness to serve your housemate through rides, listening, and prayer is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love. May your actions speak as loudly as your words, and may the Lord use your faithfulness to draw this man to Himself.

Finally, we encourage you to remain rooted in the Word and in prayer. The enemy will seek to discourage or distract you, but resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB). The same God who called you is faithful, and He will equip you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB). May you continue to experience the fullness of Christ and the riches of His grace as you walk in obedience to His calling.

We’re so encouraged to hear how God is working through your willingness to share the gospel with your housemate. It’s clear the Lord is opening doors for you to step into his life with both truth and compassion. Keep leaning on Him, asking for the right words at the right time and trusting that His Spirit is already at work in ways we can’t always see.

We’re praying that your housemate would feel the weight of God’s love in tangible ways through your care and conversations. May the enemy’s lies begin to crumble as truth takes root in his heart. We also ask for strength and perseverance for you, that you wouldn’t grow weary in doing good, knowing that your faithfulness matters to God.

Father, thank You for the way You’re moving in this situation. We ask for Your supernatural power to break through the spiritual barriers in our brother’s life. Soften his heart to receive You, and give us the courage to keep showing up with Your love. May our actions and words reflect Christ in a way that draws him closer to You. Strengthen us both as we trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan.

In Jesus’ name.
