Father, thank You for freely granting repentance from 2 long-term besetting sins last summer at the Evangelism Training and for recommissioning me in evangelism and exhortation -- surely even if we are barely even baring any fruit, You prune us that we may be more fruitful, Jn 15:2... Thank You for not breaking off bruised reeds or snuffing out dimly burning wicks, May this update bless each and every reader, 1 Jn 1:3, and may you give them everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Pet 1:3, every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ, Eph 1:3, GRACE upon GRACE from the FULLNESS of Christ, Jn 1:16, even to know the riches of the glory of the inheritance of Christ, Eph 1:18, thank You in Jesus Name, AMEN, 2 Cor 1:20…

UPDATE: Just wanted to thank you for praying... 1) I've been able to give my "housie" who "point-blank heard the gospel a couple weeks back a couple rides to work, listen to his struggles, share The Word with and audibly PRAY for him... He's in spiritual battle, Eph 6:10-20... Father, we thank You Phil 1:6 is true, and thank you all for Eph 6:18, as we ask God deliver him from temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one... Give angels charge over him, Ps 91:11-12. Thank You in Jesus' Name...

2) PTL, I got a text right before had the small outing couple days ago and we were enabled to share freely (personally shared with about a dozen -- sorry tbh I am fairly vocal so people walking by heard John 3:16 and Acts 3:19, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4)... I have the gospel in rap form which God has used and still uses to open a lot of doors, but must admit I have a choppy Spanish gospel presentation... I ask for grace to study Spanish, listen to and understand Spanish Evangelistic sermons and understand Spanish in general -- was able to strengthen the others in general, encourage, and helped them be more confident in sharing... Please ask GOD waters the seeds, 1 Cor 3:6…

Mostly need God's LOVE (so as to not be lonely, Song 1:13), Grace on the team, open doors, faith and hope... WISDOM, Big Time Wisdom regarding my wife, her salvation and our child's protection, ability to meet pressing needs and that God continues to support me and gives grace and wisdom for a shoulder operation, gym & physical rehab of the shoulder (needs re-attachment), healthy partial fasting, drink water, sleep well -- but MOSTLY for his Presence in prayer, praise, worship, study of Word -- and in MEETING PRESSING NEEDS... (financial acrobatics, schedule lab work, loose ends w/ vehicles in Asia, setting up an account to pay money owed there for parking, send keys, open mail, etc)...

Continued healing of MIND Isa 1:5-6, HEART Jer 4:19, and SOUL Ps 23:3-4… GRACE to serve God in my spirit in preaching the Gospel of his Son, Rom 1:9, thankful for my prayer and ask for blessing on financial partners and wisdom for setting up a not-for-profit ministry somehow -- protection from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, do no wrong, 2 Cor 13:7, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, evil people, imposters and deceivers, 2 Tim 3:13, deception, Matt 24:4, EVERY man's battle (sexual immorality), 1 Thes 4:3-4, 5-6, 7-8 -- let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall, 1 Cor 10:12 -- and last but not least, the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. We rejoice with you in the freedom and recommissioning the Lord has granted you in evangelism and exhortation! Your gratitude for His pruning and patience is a testament to His faithfulness, even when fruit seems scarce. John 15:5 reminds us, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." Your labor in sharing the gospel, whether through rides to work, open-air witnessing, or creative expressions like gospel rap, is precious in His sight.

We lift up your housemate in earnest prayer, for he is indeed in spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Father, we ask You to surround him with Your angels (Psalm 91:11-12), deliver him from temptation, and open his heart to the saving knowledge of Christ. Strengthen him to stand firm in the armor of God, and let the seeds of truth you’ve planted take root. We pray for boldness and wisdom for you as you continue to minister to him, that your words would be seasoned with grace and truth.

Your outreach efforts are a fragrant offering to the Lord, and we praise Him for the doors He has opened for you to share the gospel. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38), and your willingness to sow in both English and Spanish is commendable. We pray for the Holy Spirit to water every seed planted, that those who heard John 3:16 and Acts 3:19 would be drawn to repentance and faith. Father, grant our brother greater fluency in Spanish, that no language barrier would hinder the spread of Your Word. Equip him with clarity, confidence, and compassion as he engages with those who do not yet know You.

Your heart for your wife’s salvation and your child’s protection is a sacred burden, and we stand with you in intercession. Marriage is a covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and we pray that your union would be a testimony to His grace. Father, soften your wife’s heart to the gospel, that she may come to know You as Savior and Lord. Guard your child with Your angels, and grant your family unity in Christ. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask for divine wisdom as you navigate this season, that every decision would align with Your will.

Your physical healing and financial needs are not overlooked. The shoulder injury you face requires both medical intervention and divine restoration. Jeremiah 30:17 promises, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray for skilled hands to reattach what is torn, for swift recovery, and for discipline in your rehabilitation. Father, provide for every pressing need, whether financial, logistical, or practical. Open doors for provision, and grant favor as you settle accounts and manage responsibilities. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

The battles you describe, temptation, sexual immorality, deception, and the schemes of the evil one, are real, but Christ has already overcome them. 1 Corinthians 10:13 declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray for a hedge of protection around your mind, heart, and soul, that you would walk in purity and holiness. Father, fortify him against the lies of the enemy, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet (Psalm 119:105). Guard him from every form of sexual immorality, for as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 warns, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."

Your desire for God’s presence in prayer, worship, and the study of His Word is a sweet aroma to Him. Psalm 27:4 says, "One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple." May your time with Him be rich and transformative, filling you with His peace and power. We also pray for your financial partners and the vision of establishing a not-for-profit ministry. Father, bless those who support this work, and grant our brother wisdom in structuring this endeavor to glorify You and advance Your Kingdom.

Finally, we rebuke every spirit of loneliness, discouragement, and distraction that seeks to hinder your walk with Christ. Song of Solomon 1:13 is your portion: "My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh, that lies between my breasts." May Christ Himself be your closest companion, filling every void with His love. We declare over you the promise of Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear brother to You, asking that You would meet him in every area of need. Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit. Provide for his family, protect his marriage, and use him mightily in evangelism. Let Your presence go before him, and may Your peace guard his heart. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

It's so encouraging to see how God is working through you in sharing the gospel with those around you. Just knowing that your housemate heard the gospel clearly and that you've been able to encourage him in his spiritual walk is such a blessing. It's amazing how God uses our everyday interactions to plant seeds that can grow into something beautiful.

We're praying for your wife and child as well - that God would soften their hearts and draw them to Himself. And with your shoulder surgery coming up and all the physical demands you're facing, we're trusting God to give you the strength and healing you need each day. It's a lot to juggle, but we know the Lord is more than able to meet every need you have.

May God continue to open doors for your ministry and give you wisdom as you navigate all these responsibilities. We're here cheering you on as you serve Him so faithfully.

Father, we lift up this brother to You right now. Strengthen his body as he recovers, heal his shoulder completely, and give him supernatural energy to face each day.
