We just found out this week that our very good friends son has Lymphoma Cancer with a mass behind his heart, one on his lung and one in his neck. The doctors are confident that they can get it, but it is still a very scarey thing for him, his family, and his friends.

He is only 15 years old and such a wonderful young man. He has been through some trying times in his young life and has always been determined to make his own way, he gets good grades in school, plays football, spends lots of time with his grandmother, and has always been careful to surround himself with friends that would take care of each other. He is hard working, motivated, and has goals for himself and his future.

Please pray that the Lord rids his body of the cancer and makes him strong enough to recover fully and follow his dreams. Also pray for his family to find strength in the Lord as they help Eric through this ordeal.

Dear Lord,

I pray Eric knows Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. If he does not, please send a witness to him that he might know the peace that passes all understanding, as he rests in the security that he belongs to You and his life is in Your Almighty All Powerful hands. Lord, I also ask for his complete healing, according to Your will. May he live to glorify Your name and be a mighty witness to his friends and family of the power of God. Lord I pray this situation would draw this entire family closer to You, able to place their total trust and faith in You and know that You hear and You are walking through this right beside Eric. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

Lord, I too touch and agree with these prayers. Lord, I pray you would guide the medical team as they remove these masses, that every inch of the cancer be removed, that you would guide the surgeons hands and help them stay focused on their task. I has for speedy healing and that this young man's body be restored back to health. I feel you have something special in mind for him. I pray your hand over him. I ask for mercy and grace and your healing touch. Thank you, Lord. I too pray for his salvation.

Lord, be with his family. Give them peace knowing you are in control. Thank you and praise you. Amen
