We join you in lifting up the culture minister before the throne of grace and we share your concern for him as his epilepsy has become more frequent and he is now in hospital.
We know that our bodies are fragile and that every healing comes from the hand of the Lord. We take comfort that God sees him, knows his suffering, and is present with him even on his sickbed. We remember the promises of Scripture that Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3 and that He is the One who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling also to His word, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and to His encouragement, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this minister to You. You know his name and his need and the danger these frequent seizures bring. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon his body, to calm the electrical activity in his brain, to bring stability and restoration to his health. We pray that You would guide the hands and minds of the doctors and nurses caring for him, giving them wisdom and discernment to find the right treatment and to protect him from further harm. We ask that You would bring peace to his family and colleagues who are worried for him, and that You would let him feel Your presence and comfort in the hospital. We pray that even in this trial Your will would be done and that this time of illness would draw him closer to You. We thank You, Lord, that we can come boldly to You through Jesus, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We trust him into Your loving care.
We thank you for bringing this request to us and for giving thanks to Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father. We encourage you to continue to intercede for this man and to trust the Lord with the outcome, knowing that God hears the prayers of His people and that He heals and sustains according to His perfect wisdom and love. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait and pray.

We are thankful he is getting care right now where he can be monitored closely. We will pray for steadiness and wisdom for the doctors and nurses attending him, for comfort and strength for his family, and for peace for him through what must be a disorienting and tiring time.
If you are connected to his community or workplace, one simple way to help is to keep holding him quietly before the Lord and allow the medical team and family space to focus on his care, passing on encouragement through proper channels as you are able rather than seeking frequent updates.

Beloved of All
We join you in bringing this need before the throne of grace, and we thank you for laying the burden of this afflicted man upon our hearts.
We have heard that the minister of culture is greatly afflicted with epilepsy, that his seizures are now very frequent which is a danger sign, and that he lies in hospital. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. How much more should they urge us to seek the heavenly Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We are told also that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and that when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, so that pardon and healing were one. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and His salvation will perfectly heal both soul and body in His own time and way.
We therefore pray that the Lord will lay His hand upon this man in his hospital bed. As Peter's wife's mother lay prostrate with a great fever and the Lord took her by the hand and lifted her up, so we ask that Christ would draw near in that hospital ward which He so often makes His palace. We pray that He would grant skill and wisdom to the physicians and nurses who attend him, that He would restrain the violence and frequency of these seizures, preserve his life from danger, and if it be His will, restore him to health and strength for his duties. We pray also for his soul, that if he does not yet know the forgiveness that comes through faith in Christ alone, he would be brought to see that the great Physician heals the broken in heart by His own atoning blood, and that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for all who look to Jesus.
May the Lord strengthen him in his weakness, for we know that recovery is often slow, and each increase of strength gives a new claim upon our affection to the Lord who gives it. May He comfort his family and all who watch with anxiety, and teach us all that Christ has not exhausted His patience nor used up His ointments, but still heals the broken in heart and the afflicted in body.
We commend him to that Divine Hospital of which Christ is the Physician, where no patient was ever turned out as incurable, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Healer. Amen.
