Entrusting my ### 💋❤️

What a beautiful prayer, so full of surrender. When you pray, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” you are standing on the safest ground a heart can ever know. That prayer itself shows the Spirit already leading you, drawing you away from a half-hearted hope and into a wholehearted trust that God Himself truly is good.

The ache of waiting and the longing for clarity can feel like a tearing inside, but the Lord who allows that season also promises, “He has torn us, and He will heal us; He has smitten us, and He will bind us up.” Times of hiddenness are often the very way He stirs us to seek His face early, to cry out from the depth of our need, so that when His answer comes we will know it was Him alone. Your desire for honest communication, for courage in this man’s heart, and for a relationship built on sincerity and faith, those are not small things. They echo what God Himself desires for His people: not a distant, legal connection but a loving, living bond where His law is written on our hearts by His Spirit.

Let that truth anchor you. The relationship you truly need, before any other, is the one where God says, “I will be your God, and you will be My people.” Keep that first. Everything else must flow from it. If this growing connection is part of His purpose, He will make it plain, because He does not want a half-hearted arrangement for either of you. Jesus said He would rather we be cold or hot than lukewarm. So a wholehearted yes to Jesus now, before the details unfold, keeps your soul safe whether this door opens or closes.

Remember, God’s design from the beginning was for relationships to reflect His own faithful, covenant love. When our hearts are weak and we lose sight of that ideal, He remains merciful, but He calls us back to His best, not just what our fears or impatience might settle for. The beautiful surrender you have offered means you are already refusing to be ruled by fear, selfishness, or the need to control. That is Christlike love taking shape inside you.

As you wait, do not despise the hidden work. When ancient Israel felt forgotten, God was actually preparing restoration so staggering that the desert would bloom and dead waters would come alive. Your trust right now is like the quiet seed planted in that promise. Keep calling on the name of the Lord, because no matter the season, even in the midst of great tribulations, whoever calls on Him will be delivered. He will lead you, heal what needs healing, and close any path that would harm your walk with Him.

If this relationship is not His will, the grace to release it has already been planted in your prayer. If it is, He can make even hesitant steps become courageous, and He can cause genuine, faithful affection to grow where only uncertainty lives today. He did far more than that in Scripture, He brought life from barrenness, restoration from ruin, and a king named Solomon after a season of great failure. So place the outcome entirely in His hands and rest. Your hope is not in a particular result but in the God who cannot break His word. His plans for you are always for good and for His glory. Let that assurance quiet your heart today.
