Entrusting my ###❤️❤️❤️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, trusting in Your perfect wisdom, timing, and love. Thank You for bringing ### into my life. You know every detail of our hearts, our thoughts, and our future better than we ever could.

Lord, I lift up my boyfriend and chatmate in ### and with ADHD to You. Please touch his heart with Your love, peace, and truth and heal him. If it is Your will, give him courage to move forward in getting to know me more deeply and honestly. Order his steps according to Your perfect plan. If it is good and pleasing in Your sight, open the way for us to have a meaningful phone call or video call, and help us communicate with sincerity, openness, and respect.

Father, if this relationship is part of Your purpose for our lives, help him become intentional and serious about our communication and our relationship. Guide both of us to seek You first, to honor You in our words and actions, and to build a relationship founded on faith, honesty, trust, and genuine love.

Lord Jesus, I surrender my own desires to You. As Your Word teaches, I pray, "Not my will, but Yours be done." If this relationship is Your will, strengthen it. If You have a different path, give me the grace to trust You completely, knowing that Your plans are always good.

Fill ###'s heart and mind with the love that comes from You. If it is Your will for us to share a future together, grow in him a sincere, faithful, and unconditional love—one that reflects Your patience, kindness, forgiveness, and steadfast commitment. Likewise, shape my heart so that I may love him in a Christlike way, free from fear, selfishness, or impatience.

Protect us from misunderstanding, doubt, fear, and anything that would draw us away from You. Help us to encourage one another in faith and to walk in integrity and truth.

I place this relationship into Your loving hands. I trust You to open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and lead us according to Your perfect will. Whatever the outcome, help me rest in the assurance that Your love never fails and that Your plans for me are always for my good and for Your glory.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and your desire to surrender this relationship to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His will with humility and faith. Your prayer reflects a beautiful posture of trust in God’s sovereignty, and we affirm your commitment to honor Him in this season of waiting and discernment. However, we must gently address a few areas where Scripture calls us to deeper alignment with God’s design for relationships.

First, we notice your use of the term "boyfriend," which, while common in modern culture, does not fully reflect the biblical model of courtship with the intent of marriage. Scripture calls believers to pursue relationships with the goal of holy matrimony, not merely companionship or emotional fulfillment. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a committed follower of Christ, we must prayerfully consider whether this relationship can truly honor God. If he is a believer, we encourage you to view this season as one of intentional courtship, where both of you seek the Lord’s guidance for a future marriage that reflects His love and covenant.

We also lift up the matter of communication and emotional intimacy. While your desire for deeper connection is understandable, we must guard our hearts against forming soul ties outside of marriage. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage, we must ask the Lord to help you set boundaries that protect both of your hearts from unnecessary attachment or temptation. If it is moving toward marriage, we pray for wisdom in how you communicate, ensuring that your words and actions reflect Christ’s love and purity.

Your prayer for healing and patience regarding his ADHD is beautiful, and we join you in asking the Lord to grant him peace, clarity, and self-control. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23). May the Lord also give you grace to extend patience and understanding, while trusting Him to work in both of your lives.

We must also address the reality of sexual temptation, even in relationships that begin with pure intentions. Scripture is clear: "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity" (Ephesians 5:3). If this relationship is to honor God, we must pray for the strength to flee from any form of physical or emotional intimacy that would lead to sin. This includes guarding your conversations, avoiding late-night or overly personal discussions that could stir up lust, and committing to purity in both thought and deed.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence, lifting up this sister and her desire for a godly relationship. Lord, we thank You for her willingness to surrender her own will and trust in Yours. We ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan for her life, whether that includes this man or another path You have prepared. If this relationship is not of You, give her the grace to release it with peace, knowing that Your plans are always for her good.

Father, we pray for this man, that You would draw him closer to Yourself. Heal his heart, mind, and spirit, and grant him the strength to overcome the challenges of ADHD with Your power. If it is Your will for them to move forward together, we ask that You would guide their steps toward marriage, rooted in faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to honor You. Help them to communicate with honesty, integrity, and purity, always seeking to build one another up in the Lord.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over their hearts. Guard them from temptation, doubt, and any influence that would draw them away from You. May their relationship be a reflection of Your love, patient, kind, selfless, and holy. If this is not Your will, give them both the courage to walk away, trusting in Your provision and perfect timing.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who gives us access to the Father and the only Name by which we are saved. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified above all else. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season, not only for the outcome of this relationship but for your own growth in Christ. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). As you draw near to Him, He will shape your desires to align with His will. Trust in His timing, lean on His strength, and remember that His plans for you are good. If this relationship is not part of His design, He has something even better in store. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you every step of the way.

We’ve read your prayer with real gratitude, your honest surrender, “not my will, but Yours be done,” already shows the kind of trust that pleases God’s heart. There’s something deeply steadying when we lay a relationship on the altar like that. It’s not a giving up; it’s a giving over, and you’ve done that beautifully.

We know the waiting can feel heavy, especially when ### can make communication and consistency feel unpredictable. We’re praying with you for his healing, that the God who knit him together will calm his mind and give him courage to move toward you with honesty and purpose. But we also want to encourage you to keep your eyes on the one part of this story you can fully direct: your own heart. Sometimes God uses a season like this to deepen our roots in Him, so that whether the relationship grows or takes a different turn, you’re already anchored in His love.

A practical step that often brings clarity is to quietly ask yourself, “Is this relationship, as it actually is, drawing me closer to Christ?” Share that honest answer with a wise, older Christian friend or mentor who knows you. Outside eyes can help us see what hope or fear might cloud.

And now we pray with you, Father, thank You for holding this daughter and her whole desire in Your safe hands. Please touch her boyfriend, bringing healing to his mind and heart, and steady his intentions. But more than that, let Your will be done, and give her an unshakable peace that rests not on the outcome but on Your unchanging goodness. Guard her from fear and confusion, and fill her with the quiet confidence that You are the Author of every good path. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The posture of your heart in this prayer is one that I delight to see: a soul bowing before the throne, acknowledging that the Lord's will is better than your own. This is the very essence of true submission, "Not my will, but Yours be done." You speak of entrusting this man to God, and that is well, for the Great Physician alone can heal the wounds of the mind and spirit. But let me press you further: have you made an unconditional surrender of this whole matter? Have you flung wide the gates of your heart's desire and admitted King Jesus to rule as absolute Sovereign over your affections? It is not enough to say, "If it is Your will, strengthen it"; you must also be willing that He scatter all your hopes to the wind if that be His good pleasure. That is the surrender at discretion I have often spoken of, yielding yourself to His method of operating upon you, even if it means disappointment, silence, or a closed door.

Remember, the love of Christ for His church moved Him to lay aside all glory. Can you not then trust Him with a matter so small as a human relationship? Eat the sacrifice of thanksgiving by faith, and leave the outcome to Him. Seek His face, and be more concerned with your own sanctification than with the progress of this courtship. If this man is to be your husband, the Lord will make the path straight; but if not, He has something better than you could ever imagine. Guard your heart from idolatrous anxiety, and rest in the assurance that your Father's plans are always good. Kiss the Son, and go in peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
