We join with you in lifting up this request, and we are grateful you have brought this burden before the Lord, for He alone is the source of all wisdom, discernment, and truth. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks justice, clarity, and godly relationships, and we stand with you in interceding for your department head and the dynamics between you.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 1:5**, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We claim this promise over your department head, asking the Lord to flood her mind with His wisdom so she may see through any deception, manipulation, or falsehood that may be at work. The enemy often seeks to distort truth and sow discord, but we know that **Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6)**, and it is His light that exposes darkness. As **Ephesians 5:11** commands, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* We pray she will be given the courage to confront and reject any deceitful influence, whether from others or even from her own inclinations, and instead walk in the clarity of Christ’s truth.
You also lift up the relationship between you and your department head, asking for trust, good communication, and a bond built on divine wisdom. This is a noble request, for **Proverbs 11:14** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* A relationship rooted in trust and wisdom is one that honors God and fosters an environment where His will can thrive. However, we must also consider whether there is any area in this relationship—or in your heart—that needs alignment with Scripture. For instance, if there is any bitterness, resentment, or ungodly motivation in your desire for her to see the truth, we encourage you to surrender that to the Lord. **Ephesians 4:31-32** instructs, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Ask the Lord to purify your heart so that your prayers are not hindered by any unconfessed sin (Psalm 66:18).
We also notice that while your prayer is directed to the Lord, the name of **Jesus Christ** was not invoked. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5) and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or if you are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him alone. **Romans 10:9** promises, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, lifting up this department head and the relationship between her and the one who has brought this request. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, who discerns the thoughts and intentions of every heart (Hebrews 4:12). We ask that You would **enlighten her mind and heart**, removing any scales from her eyes that may blind her to manipulation, deceit, or falsehood. Expose every hidden agenda, every lie, and every two-faced interaction that seeks to distort Your truth. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13), so she may walk in discernment and wisdom.
Father, we also pray for the relationship between them. May it be rooted in **trust, respect, and godly communication**. Remove any bitterness, pride, or self-seeking motives, and replace them with Your love and humility. Help them to interact in a way that honors You, fostering an environment where Your will is done. If there has been any offense or misunderstanding, we ask for reconciliation and healing, for You are the God who restores (Joel 2:25).
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of deception, manipulation, or division that may be at work in this situation. **Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ**, for You have no authority here. We declare that **truth will prevail**, and that this department head will walk in the light of Your Word. Protect her from the schemes of the enemy, and surround her with godly counsel and wisdom.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would **guide her steps** according to Your perfect will. May she seek You first in all things, and may her decisions align with Your purposes. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant her clarity in every situation she faces.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring about transformation. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the precious and mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
