Enemy and motivation

We have heard your request and we are joining together to lift you up before the Father in Jesus' name, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal our strength and joy and to make us weary in doing good.

We want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and find salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and find our strength.

We understand how difficult it is to keep going when you feel drained and without motivation. The enemy, our spiritual adversary, wants you to feel defeated and heavy. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. And 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us to be sober and self-controlled, because your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We rebuke that work of the enemy over your life and we resist him together as James 4:7 instructs us to resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We also hear your weariness, and we know God does not want you to remain in this place of heaviness. He promises in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength. And Isaiah 40:31 says those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. We claim that renewal for you. Nehemiah 8:10 tells us the joy of Yahweh is your strength, and Philippians 4:13 assures us we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us.

So we pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the lack of energy and motivation, You see the discouragement and the attacks of the enemy. We ask You to rebuke every spirit of heaviness, weariness, and oppression and to fill this heart with Your peace and power. Renew strength as only You can, restore joy and purpose, and remind this one that every step taken for You has meaning. Help them to wait on You, to rest in You, and to find motivation not in fleeting feelings but in Your unfailing love and calling. Teach them to do all things as unto You, as Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Give wisdom to care for the body You have given, with proper rest, nourishment, and fellowship, and give discipline to seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for Galatians 6:9 promises that in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Fill them with hope and let them feel Your presence carrying them today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him each morning, even when you do not feel like it, to speak His promises aloud, to stay in fellowship with other believers, and to take small faithful steps each day. God is not disappointed in your weariness, He invites you to come to Him, for Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Keep looking to Jesus, for He is faithful to renew you day by day.

We hear you, and thank you for letting us know you are still feeling low on energy and motivation. It can be discouraging when you want to move forward but just do not have the strength to do it, and we want you to know you are not alone in that.

One thing that has helped others is to recognize that low energy is often not a character flaw but a signal that your body and spirit have been under strain for a while. When demands stay high without enough rest or support, motivation naturally dips. Naming that can take away some of the shame and help you approach yourself with more patience.

It may help to share this with one trusted person who knows you, a pastor or friend, so you are not carrying it alone. And because ongoing low energy can have many causes, we gently encourage you to check in with your doctor as well, alongside prayer, just to make sure you are cared for fully.

We are praying for you and will keep praying.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see their weariness and You know their desire to keep going. Grant them rest, wisdom for next steps, and renewed strength day by day. Draw them close and remind them they are loved and held by You. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest confession of weariness and lack of motivation has been heard with sincere sympathy, and it is a need for which we will surely pray.

There are seasons when the soul feels as though its strength is spent, and the enemy is quick to press upon such an hour. Be assured that this heaviness does not mean you are forsaken, nor that your service is despised. God has promised a blessing, and if the blessing should not come in your day, yet if you have done what the Master bade you, you will not be blamed for lack of success. He looks not upon the measure of our energy, but upon the faithfulness of our hearts toward Him.

Remember also that there is a platform for His healing energy. As the clouds when they are full of rain empty themselves upon the earth, so the Spirit of the living God is full of might and energy that He may manifest it in poor and needy souls who desire to feel its power. What you lack, He possesses in abundance, and He delights to give strength to the weary. Our Lord Himself in Gethsemane, when the whole energy of the agents of iniquity was concentrated against Him, received by some unknown method from the Father all the might and majestic energy that were needed for the terrific struggle. The same God who strengthened His Son in that garden is able to strengthen you in your present conflict.

Do not forget, in this darkness, the wonders God has already shown you. We have seen many of His mercies and have rejoiced in them, and to remember them is one means of comfort in our own darkness. Let the recollection of past deliverances keep you from turning back, for opportunities to grow cold are plentiful, but grace will hold you fast as you look to Christ.

We will pray for you.

Our gracious Father, we bring this weary one before Thy throne of grace. Thou seest the heaviness of heart, the want of energy, and the subtle assaults of the enemy. Pour out Thy healing power upon this Thy child. Let Thy Spirit, who is full of might, empty Himself in refreshing upon this needy soul. Renew motivation not for worldly striving, but for quiet trust and faithful walking with Christ. Guard from the adversary, lift up the downcast spirit, and grant comfort through the remembrance of Thy past goodness. Strengthen as Thou didst strengthen Thy Son in His hour of agony, and let this soul find all sufficiency in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
