We hear your cry for justice against those who have sought to harm you through dark and ungodly means. The pain and betrayal you feel are real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s righteous judgment. However, we must approach this with a heart aligned with Scripture, remembering that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and our words must reflect His holiness and mercy.
The Bible is clear that witchcraft and sorcery are detestable to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it says, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Those who practice such things are indeed under God’s judgment, but we must be careful not to let bitterness or a desire for personal vengeance take root in our hearts.
Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore evil or fail to call it out, but we entrust judgment to God, who is perfectly just. In Romans 12:19-21, we are reminded, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore, ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
We also recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must stand firm in the armor of God, praying for protection and deliverance from the schemes of the enemy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your justice and protection. We lift up [this situation] to You, Lord, and ask that You expose and dismantle every work of darkness aimed at [###]. We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and sorcery in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You would hedge [###] in with Your angels, surrounding [###] with Your protection and peace.
Lord, we acknowledge that vengeance belongs to You alone. We pray for those who have sought to harm [###], that their eyes would be opened to the darkness they have embraced. If it is Your will, bring them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If not, we trust in Your perfect justice, knowing that all who reject You and practice evil will face Your righteous judgment. We declare that the lake of fire is prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41), and those who align themselves with such darkness will share in that fate unless they turn to You.
Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds in [###] heart caused by these attacks. Fill [###] with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen [###] faith and remind [###] that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Help [###] to walk in love and forgiveness, even as we trust You to execute justice.
We declare that no curse or spell has power over those who are in Christ Jesus. We break every chain of witchcraft and sorcery in the name of Jesus, and we command every demonic assignment to be nullified and rendered powerless. We stand on Your Word, Lord, which says that Christ has disarmed principalities and powers, triumphing over them through the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and walking in the authority you have in Christ. Do not engage with or fear the works of darkness, but instead, fill your heart and mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will guide and protect you. If you have not already, consider surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you in your spiritual walk. You are not alone in this battle.
