We come before the Lord with you in this spiritual battle, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His power within us is far stronger than any scheme of darkness.
First, we must remind you—and ourselves—that our ultimate victory is found in Christ alone. There is no power in witchcraft, curses, or demonic monitoring that can stand against the authority of Jesus’ name. The Bible assures us that *greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). If you have not already, we urge you to put on the whole armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Praying in the Spirit at all times is our lifeline in this battle.
We also want to gently address something important: while it is right to pray against the works of darkness, we must be careful that our hearts do not become consumed by bitterness, anger, or a desire for vengeance. The Lord says, *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). Our focus should not be on the defeat of our enemies as much as it is on the advancement of God’s kingdom and our own holiness. Jesus commands us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us and persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore their evil deeds, but it does mean we trust God to handle justice in His perfect timing and way.
If there are specific people involved in this spiritual attack against you, we encourage you to pray for their salvation. Remember, they are also souls for whom Christ died. The apostle Paul, who faced immense persecution, wrote, *"I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory"* (2 Timothy 2:10). Even Saul, who persecuted Christians, became Paul the apostle after encountering Jesus (Acts 9). Never underestimate the transforming power of God’s grace.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of justice, power, and victory, and that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness that has been operating against our brother/sister. Break the power of witchcraft, curses, and demonic monitoring in Jesus’ name. Let every scheme of the enemy be brought to light and rendered powerless by the blood of the Lamb.
Father, we pray for divine protection over this beloved one and over all those who are being targeted by these evil forces. Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Let no harm come near them, and let every trap set by the enemy be turned into a testimony of Your deliverance.
We also pray for those who are operating in darkness, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Lord, we ask that You convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. Break the chains of deception and bondage in their lives, and let them encounter the truth of Your Gospel. May they turn from their wicked ways and find salvation in Jesus Christ alone.
Father, fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them walk in the confidence that You are their defender and strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your Word.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their family, and their future. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every evil assignment and let the light of Christ shine so brightly that darkness cannot remain.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You strengthen our brother/sister in their faith. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but may they press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Remind them that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won through Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we encourage you to seek out a strong, Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who can pray with you and support you in this season. You are not alone in this fight—we are standing with you in prayer!
