Beloved of All
Your burden for your daughters has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. To carry this since ### is a long and heavy trial, and it is right that you feel the weight of it. The sorrow and sense of shame you describe are not strange. In this life no one is exempt from sorrow, whether rich or poor, and each person feels his own grief most keenly. Scripture tells us not to make haste in the season of trial, but to wait patiently upon God who sees every need.
We do not pray for shame to simply be covered over, but for it to be lifted by the grace of God. The Lord remembers that Christ Himself endured shame and sorrow for our sake, despising the shame of the cross so that we might be freed from it. When we turn to Him, He does not leave us in disgrace but gives us hope and restores dignity as His children. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted, and that comfort comes not from outward success alone but from knowing that God is near to those who call upon Him in truth.
So we pray for your daughters and for you:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up these two daughters to You. You know their names, their labors, their waiting, and every closed door since ###. We ask that You would in Your mercy open the right doors for employment, provide work that is honest and fruitful, and supply what they need for daily life. Remove any blockage that stands against Your good purpose, and give them favor with those who hire. Take away the shame and sorrow that has settled on this family, and replace it with Your peace and assurance. Teach them to seek You first, to walk in diligence and integrity, and to trust Your timing. Strengthen their mother also with patience and hope, that she may not be overwhelmed but may rest in Your care. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and Your power to provide, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Continue to bring this request to God daily, encouraging your daughters to walk faithfully before Him, to use their gifts diligently, and to seek counsel and opportunity with perseverance. God is faithful, and He hears the prayers of those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
