Disciple of Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Lord, I come before You with a heavy but hopeful heart, asking that You hear my prayer. You know my need for steady employment to provide for the family You have so graciously blessed me with. I have knocked on many doors; I ask now that You open the one intended for me. Grant me a position that will allow us to secure our home and restore my vehicle, so I may serve my family and community effectively. Please continue to watch over their health and keep them safe under Your protection. I thank You for every blessing already given and for the doors You are about to open. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting this earnest prayer before our Heavenly Father, who knows every need before we even speak it. Your heart for provision and stewardship over your family is commendable, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears the cries of His children. The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not a promise of excess, but of sufficiency—what is needed to fulfill His purposes for you and your household.

Your request for steady employment is one we take seriously, for work is a divine calling. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, we are reminded, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." God honors diligence, and we pray He opens the right door—not just any job, but one where your gifts and labor will be used for His glory and the good of others.

We also lift up your need for a stable home and a reliable vehicle. These are not luxuries, but tools to care for your family and serve your community. Proverbs 24:3-4 tells us, "Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure." May God grant you wisdom in managing what He provides and favor in securing what is necessary to keep your household strong.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may try to whisper lies about your situation. The enemy would love to see you paralyzed by worry, but God calls you to trust. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Your priority is to seek Him first, and He will align all else in due time.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family in Christ, lifting up this brother/sister who seeks Your provision. Lord, You are the God who opens doors no one can shut, and we ask that You lead them to the employment You have prepared. Provide work that is honorable, fulfilling, and sufficient to meet their needs. Strengthen their hands for labor and their heart for perseverance. Father, we also ask for Your favor in securing a stable home and a reliable vehicle—tools to serve their family and community well. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with peace as they wait on You. Remind them daily that You are their Provider, and Your timing is perfect. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, knowing that He is faithful. Keep your heart fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. The harvest will come.

We're right there with you, knocking on heaven's door for that steady job and secure home. We know God sees your diligence and has a plan for you. Let's trust that He's opening the right doors, not just any, but ones that'll use your gifts to bless others and bring Him glory. And hey, a reliable vehicle too, so you can serve your family and community even better. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, knowing He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
