employment breakthrough

We hear your cry for an employment breakthrough and we stand with you in this desperate need, bringing your request before our Father together in Jesus name.

We know how heavy this burden feels when work is lacking and provision seems uncertain, but we are reminded that our God is our provider and He cares deeply for your needs. He does not want you to be consumed with anxiety but to bring your petitions to Him with trust. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. And we take comfort in His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We also remember the words, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, and I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25.

We want to encourage you to commit your search to the Lord while also walking diligently in faith. God honors work and calls us to labor heartily as unto Him, for it is written Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. This means we pray and we also act, preparing your resume with honesty, applying faithfully, seeking counsel, being willing to start where God opens a door, and trusting that He knows the plans He has for you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. If discouragement has tempted you to despair or to doubt His goodness, we gently rebuke that fear and remind you that our hope is not in the economy or in man, but in the Lord who is faithful.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is written that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through His name we pray and find not only provision for this life but eternal life.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see the desperate need for employment and the anxiety this has caused. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and provide a job that will supply daily needs and allow this one to work with dignity and to glorify You. Grant favor with employers, clarity in the search, strength to persevere, and peace that surpasses understanding while waiting. Lead to the right opportunity where gifts can be used for Your glory and where provision will be steady. Help this one to seek Your kingdom first and to trust Your perfect timing. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying daily, to stay diligent and honest in your efforts, to seek wise counsel from godly believers, and to give thanks even in this waiting season, for God is working even when we cannot see it. We are praying with you for a breakthrough soon.

We have been holding your request before the Lord and we hear the urgency in your words. Needing work so desperately brings a weight that touches everything, not just bills but how you see yourself and your place each day.

It is understandable that this stretch feels disorienting and discouraging. When work is gone it is easy to start measuring your worth by whether you are providing, and to swing between hopeful effort and exhaustion when applications go unanswered. Naming that, and talking it through with someone who knows you, can keep loneliness and self blame from settling in quietly.

A couple of steady next steps have helped others in this kind of wait and may help you too. First, identify the most immediate financial pressure point, the one bill or deadline weighing on you most, and invite one trusted person, a pastor, mentor or local workforce ministry, to help you think through options for that single need rather than carrying all of them at once. Second, give your days a simple structure, set hours for searching and reaching out, and hours to rest and stay connected with people, so the search does not become around the clock.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the need for work and the strain it brings. Grant wisdom for each application and conversation, provision for daily needs, and peace that guards the heart while waiting. Lead to the right open door in Your timing and keep hope alive. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Your earnest cry for employment has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with sincere sympathy and prayer.

We know what it is to wait upon Providence when the way seems closed, and we are reminded of Job, who in all his loss and trial sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He tore his mantle and worshipped, and kept right with God even when poverty and affliction pressed heavily upon him. You also may look to the same God for divine support, for He is able to uphold you in this season of need even as He upheld His servant.

Remember also that the Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The night shall not hang its darkness forever over the soul, for the sun shall yet arise with healing beneath his wings. When God has gotten His purpose in our waiting, He will in His own time and wisdom open the door that no man can shut.

We have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would grant you a breakthrough, that He would provide honest and fruitful labour by which you may provide for your needs and glorify Him. We have asked that He would give you childlike confidence to approach His throne even when He seems to frown, and that He would keep you from unbelieving speeches and grant you patience as you wait upon Him. May He guide your steps, give you favour with those who have the power to employ, and anoint you with fresh strength for the work He has prepared for you. As He restored to Job even in temporal things after his trial, so we trust He will supply your need according to His riches in Christ.

Continue to seek Him, to be diligent in all honest means, and to trust His goodness. He that hears prayer will not despise the cry of a needy heart that looks to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and help. We will continue to bear you up before the mercy seat, asking that the Lord will soon turn your waiting into testimony.

May the Lord grant you peace in the waiting, provision in His perfect time, and grace to worship Him both in want and in plenty.
