Emergency prayer for ###

Cairlor

Disciple of Prayer
Please prayer for ### that he will receive Jesus and the gift of salvation, and whatever he may be planning to do with someone else, that he will be convicted.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in urgent prayer. Father God, we know that Your desire is for all to come to repentance and to know the truth that sets men free. We plead with You to open ###'s eyes to the reality of his sin and the eternal consequences of rejecting Your Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible declares, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Lord, we ask that You would break through the hardness of his heart and bring conviction by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We also bring before You the concern about whatever he may be planning with someone else. If there is sin, whether it be sexual immorality, deceit, or any other unrighteousness, we ask that You would expose it, halt it, and turn his heart away from it. The Scriptures warn, "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). But we also know that "such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:11). Lord, we pray that ### would experience this transformation, being washed clean by the blood of Jesus and set free from the bondage of sin.

We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, lust, and deception that may be influencing him. We declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes for ### will prosper, and we stand in the gap for his salvation. Father, we ask that You would surround him with believers who will speak truth into his life, that he would hear the Gospel clearly, and that he would respond with faith and repentance. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

We also pray for wisdom and boldness for those who may have the opportunity to share the Gospel with him. Let Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, knowing that You are able to save even the most hardened heart.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your heart for . When someone we care about seems far from God, especially when they may be headed toward something harmful, it can feel heavy and even frightening. Thank you for reaching out so we can stand with you in this.

We’re pausing right now to lift him up with you. For to receive Jesus and the gift of salvation, and for the Holy Spirit to stir his conscience about whatever he’s planning with another person, we’re asking God to work powerfully and personally. Sometimes conviction starts not as a loud alarm but as a quiet, nagging sense that something is off, a restlessness God uses to draw someone home.

If you belong to a local church, you might quietly ask a prayer group or a few trusted friends to join you in praying for . Knowing that others are faithfully bringing his name before the Lord can strengthen your own heart and surround him in ways we don’t always see. Prayer is never wasted, even when the outcome is still unfolding.

Lord, we bring before you now. You know exactly where he stands and what he’s planning. In your mercy, break through any confusion or resistance. Open his eyes to his need for you and to the hope that is only found in Jesus. Convict him deeply, not to shame him, but to lead him to genuine repentance and new life. Guard him and the person he may be involving, and redirect his steps. We trust you with his future, and we thank you that no heart is beyond your reach. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I charge you do not rest till you have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ and rested in the great promises of God. If my salvation depends upon the Lord and is received by me on the ground that the Lord has decreed it, promised it in Covenant and ensured it to me by the blood of Jesus Christ, then it is so mine that neither life nor death nor Satan nor the world shall ever rob me of it.

Is sin really sinful to you? Do you see its desert of Hell? If not, your repentance needs to be repented of. There must be sorrow for sin and hatred of it in true repentance, or else I have read my Bible to little purpose. Judgment may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature of men. But the repentance which makes us avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for us, this also is saving repentance.

Our sin is laid on Jesus in even a deeper and truer sense than is expressed by the term imputation. It was not possible that Jesus should enjoy the light of his Father’s presence while he was made sin for us; consequently he went through a horror of great darkness. When I see the love of God in Christ Jesus, sin becomes a condemned and destroyed thing! Let no despairing thought come upon you as though this sin were unpardonable. The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. Can you look to Jesus now and trust Christ, "The Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world"? Then this offense of yours is put away.

Wherever Jesus is received, all the guilt of the past is blotted out and gone, never to be remembered anymore. When you receive Christ, you also receive the fountain of inward purity, the well-spring of cleansing which shall overflow unto ultimate perfection. Receiving Christ, sin gets its death warrant. Those who are in Christ Jesus by a living personal faith, receive here and now the end of their faith, even the salvation of their souls!

Salvation is of the Lord. The Lord has to apply it, to make the unwilling willing, to make the ungodly godly, and bring the vile rebel to the feet of Jesus. Up come the soldiers of God, his great army of conviction, and they batter this wall to the ground, crying, "‘Salvation is of the Lord.’ Your faith and your repentance must all be given you, or else you will neither believe nor repent of sin." Look, now, by faith to Jesus, and you shall find that your sin is blotted out.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have asked prayer for a soul in danger, and rightly you call it an emergency. The very hour when sin is still only planned is an hour of grace. The devil permits no one to see the evil clearly until the deed is accomplished; then remorse floods in, but he often twists it into despair, as he did with Judas. So pray earnestly, and if you can, warn him now, while the throne is still a throne of grace and not yet a seat of judgment.

Let no one say, “I will repent later.” It is true that repentance is not taken away, nor the propitiation through tears and alms, for those who have fallen after baptism. But there is no second Washing, no second Cross. The sacrifice is one. To approach boldly and find mercy, one must come in this accepted time, not after the end. For then the approach is unseasonable, and the Judge will have risen from His throne. Do not let him neglect so great salvation, which delivers not from earthly wars but from death’s dissolution, the devil’s tyranny, and hell itself.

Whatever he schemes to do with another, whether a union that violates the holy bond ordained by God, or a deed of retaliation that he thinks justifies itself, let him be convicted that the law was never given to loose the hand of the aggressor but to bind it. God’s good skill may use even wickedness for the world’s profit, yet the wicked man reaps his own destruction. Consider the rich man, who thought he had time, but found the gulf fixed. Let him weep now for salvation, not later in vain. Let him afflict his conscience now with godly sorrow and cleanse the stain by tears, prayers, and works of mercy. If the sin is not yet completed, there is time to turn. Entreat him: do not let the devil lead you out of repentance too soon, nor carry you off by a death more bitter than any bodily end. For the fire of hell is eternal, and the weeping there knows no limit.

Pray, then, without ceasing, that he may receive Jesus and the gift of faith while the door is open.

I am bringing this urgent request before the Lord with you. The need is real and the time is short. Scripture tells us that now is the day of salvation, not some vague future moment. I am praying that the grace of God, which brings salvation, will break through to right where he is. Salvation is not a distant hope but a present offer, and I ask that he will not pass it by today.

When you ask for conviction, you are on solid ground. True conviction is not just a heavy feeling of guilt or getting caught. It is a godly sorrow that works repentance, a deep change of direction. The sorrow of the world produces only regret or bitterness, but never leads to life. I am praying that whatever he is planning to do with someone else will be met with a piercing awareness of his own sin, not to crush him, but to turn him toward the only One who can forgive. Jesus is the author of eternal salvation. He learned obedience and went to the cross so that could be saved. That salvation is not earned by heritage or good intentions; it requires a personal response.

Pray with me that this conviction becomes fruitful, like John the Baptist demanded: bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. That means a genuine change, not just tears of remorse but a turning away. We cannot manufacture that for him, but we can ask the Holy Spirit to bring it. I am praying that he will see the emptiness of his own plans and grasp that Jesus is salvation, the Lord who saves His people from their sins. May today be the accepted time. May he not delay until the opportunity has passed. We trust the Lord’s long-suffering, but we also know the danger of hardening one’s heart.

Let us hold onto hope. While we speak plainly about sin, we are persuaded of better things. I will keep asking, with fear and trembling for his soul, that will confess Jesus as Lord and walk into a new life.
